We stayed here on a hot August weekend. I mean HOT. The location is great, right on the lake. We took the pop up which does not have a bathroom. Luckily, we had been put right by the bunkhouse. The bunkhouse appeared to be in a state of disarray. So to be polite, we called the owner and told him that we were using the bunkhouse bathroom, it was our only option. The owner sounded hesitant and said tomorrow, you will not be able to use that bathroom. I’ll refund you for one of the nights you paid for. We were mildy annoyed, but didn’t even discuss it. 3 hours later, its dinner time. I’ve got to pee before I start on the potatoes. To my shock and disgust, the owner had slunk over quietly and locked the bunkhouse door! We even had our own roll of toilet paper locked in there. I was so upset I was tempted to go take a crap on their doorstep. Monday morning, after checking, it turns out it is illegal to not offer a bathroom. You must at least have a port-a-potty, which would have been fine with us. Do not stay here. Those people have no respect for you as a customer, nor human for that matter. I give this campground an F! There are several places nearby that offer facilities where you can urinate without feeling it dripping down your leg. There are several places nearby that will NOT treat you like an animal or a criminal.
