3rd Coast Bicycles

In town for the Ironman 70.3. Someone backed into my bike while it was on the rack misaligning the bars and front brakes and completely preventing the front wheel from moving. I thought my race was over before it even started, but Ben saved the day and fixed my bike in less than an hour! Thanks 3CB you guys rock!

Just had my first ride on my Giant bike I bought and wow what a awesome bike. I thought the sales person was kidding when he told me I would notice a big difference with this bike. The owner of the shop sold me the bike and it was a very pleasant and no hassle experience I also feel I got great value and service with the bike I choose.

I have found my new bike shop — 3^rd Coast Bicycles!!!
Even though there is a popular bike shop 3 blocks from my house — I go 3 miles out of my way to go here. The reason — Don is awesome. He’s the owner and is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about biking.
I had an upcoming triathlon and needed a fitting and tune-​up. Not only was the turn around quick, but they (Don and Ben, the bike tech) did a great job. I felt a huge difference on the bike fitting, and dramatically saw a huge difference on my time performance. I also had some issues with my bike and Don immediately saw the issue, knew the problem and fixed it at a phenomenal price.
Bottom line:
— the best service
— fast, friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable service
— great value for the price (the bike fitting was the lowest price I’ve ever seen)
— I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 3RD COST BICYCLES!!!
In addition, they are moving to a new location 4x the size of their current location — Don must be doing something right! Thanks Don and Ben!

$ 6/​hour for a bike rental. How sweet is that?
I was given a great bike and helmet. Also, was fitted for the bike, given a map, and pretty thorough instructions as to how to get around and ride by the lake. Two thumbs up and 5 stars!

There simply isn’t a better place for your bike needs, concerns, fixes, and answers to questions! Small but mighty — if they don’t have it, they will get it, if they have it the price is very competitive and they simply have the highest standards and the best customer service in SE Wisconsin.

Follow up to my last review. Did go back and bought a Giant Defy 0. Lightest aluminum frae bike Giant makes. Paid for the bike, and was ready to walk out the door with it and Don said, wait, I need to set it up for you. He spent 25 minutes with the bike on a trainer, fitting me to the bike.
Love the new bike. Have not put as many miles on it as i would hoped. Long, cold winter. Wet and cold spring. But when I do get it on the road it is a really great ride.
He is moving (or has moved by now) a few blocks to the west to a larger place. Good. Hope it continues to grow and prosper. A small business that really deserved to succeed in this dying, industrial ton.

3^rd Coast is by far the best bike shop in the Racine/​Kenosha area. My girlfriend and I purchased two bikes from them and had every question answered thoroughly and most importantly with honesty. Sure, the selection isn’t as grand as Racine Cyclery or Southport Rigging, but they really make up for it with the customer service. We have since purchased many accessories from them with similar satisfaction. If you’re a novice like me and looking for a place to start you off right, look no further.

Always great service. Don keeps adding brands. Very friendly and helpful if you need advice, or will let you shop if you know what you need.
