If you have ANY other option, avoid Evergent. I unfortunately don’t have any other options and have had to suffer with unreliable service that is often owner than I pay for. Tech support on the phone is only instructed to take an hour of your time to make sure that the problem is not with your wires(it has ALWAYS been Evergent’s problem) and then tier 2 support only work when I am at work. In my opinion, they know that most customers have no other choice for Internet, so they show no integrity when it comes to delivering customer service.

We had been paying $ 63 a month for internet service, all ok until Evergent dropped that level. They continued charge us the full amount, but doped our service to the lowest level. Called to get that fixed, and went to the $ 59/month plan which is supposed to give 4mbps uploads and 1mbps downloads. Been doing speed tests repeatedly different times during the week and our averages are .33mbps download and .88mbps uploads. This it’s not acceptable.
