Rejuvenations

I had an awful experience with this organization and at this point I don’t believe they are honest or trustworthy. Protect yourselves by finding a better spa that actually picks up their phone during business hours and provides you with what you purchase.
I purchased a gift certificate on May 23^rd for my Mother’s birthday on May 26^th. I assumed this was for a digital gift certificate as it didn’t specify that anything would be shipping out to me and there was no shipping options to choose from. I held out hope until Monday and when it hadn’t still arrived I was starting to get nervous. I began reaching out to them via phone, there are 2 cell phone numbers on their website for Penny and Larry, both of which are apparently never in their presence because they never bother to pick up their phones.
On May 26^th I had to apologize to my Mother and let her know that I didn’t have her gift because I still hadn’t received it. I continued to call and try to reach someone to no avail and then finally on Friday doing another round of calling this organization I finally got Larry on the phone. I explained the situation very calmly and was told I would need to speak with Penny who he promptly passed his phone to. Please note that I had called Penny first before I called Larry and she didn’t pick up her phone.
I explained the situation to Penny and she apologized and told me a tale about how she had their purse stolen, had to cancel their credit cards and somehow missed my order because of this. Several problems with this story.
1. I paid through Paypal which would not have been impacted with her purse being stolen.
2. When you pay through Paypal an email confirmation goes out to the store letting them know they received a payment.
3. When you have your credit cards stolen wouldn’t you go look at all activity to verify unauthorized purchases had been made and bumped into this order?
While I doubted the validity of this story, being a nice guy I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went along with it. Penny apologized and promised numerous times to drive it to my house on Saturday ⁵⁄₃₀ and deliver the gift certificate. I was fine with that, gave her my address (It is important to note that she has my address from the order I placed as well) and she was going to put the gift certificate in my mailbox the very next day. As I was also calling Larry’s cell phone her their website, they had my phone number if there was a problem (Also note that via Paypal they have my phone number in case there was a problem with the order)
Well today is ⁵⁄₃₁ and no gift certificate, my Mothers still doesn’t have her birthday gift and I am out of patience and faith in both Penny and Larry. My guess is they simply took my money and are trying to get away with not having to deliver on what I purchased. If that is not the situation then the best case scenario is they are incompetent and are just awful at running a business. Either way I am going to Paypal and demanding a refund, I am going to head over to all the local review sites and I am going to put up this post letting everyone know this organization is NOT TRUSTWORTHY!
I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this shady organization and find another spa that is professional and capable of delivering on their promises. At this point even if I got the certificate do I really want to subject my mother to this level of frustration and non responsiveness? Happy Birthday Mom enjoy high blood pressure and stress.

I loved my experience at Rejuvenations. I bought a groupon and added on some services. The Thai Massage was AMAZING. for newbies like me– a Thai Massage uses compression and stretching to massage your muscles. I also had a power facial, a foot scrub and a healing hands package. The services were great. Larry and Penny were friendly, approachable, professional and very talented. Just a FYI– you will need to leave a message or shoot an email to schedule appointments. I found them very responsive.

Let me first start by saying I never write reviews … But I just had the best massage of my life from Penny and I feel I have to let people know how wonderful she is. I’m in town for work and found myself with a little free time for a massage! I called and left her a message, for which she quickly got back to me and we scheduled something that day. The location is right off main street and walking distance from the radisson. Not only is she talented but honest and straight forward as well. I can’t wait to see her again when I’m back in town!
