It’s a cute, screamingly pink little ice cream shop. Kind of a throw back place. The ice cream is decent and they have candy. Not a complicated formula, but it works.

As we walked up the door a biker looking guy screamed«homo» at someone driving down the street. Six inches from my face. Imagine my surprise when I realize the girl by his side is actually the counter girl. Not only does she not acknowledge the breach of decorum that has just occurred as she looked idiotically on, she continues to operate in the place like she’s a bartender in some biker bar out of some 80s movie and not some ice cream parlor in nowhere’s-ville, USA that looks like Barbie and Betty Boop threw up all over the place. Her coworker seemed capable, human, friendly, and generally like he was making an effort but he was unable to overcome her moody psychosis which she wielded around like an axe. I couldn’t decide if this psycho girl with the delinquent boyfriend was single-handedly bringing down the vibe of the place or if it was that and the music being too loud or if that’s just how Racine is, since I’ve never really spent much time in Racine before. It seemed cute when I walked in but it ended up being so weird and awkward that I’m not sure I want to return to Racine, let alone this ice cream parlor. It was not a friendly experience. I liked the chalkboard with the cute sundae names though.

Great old school ice cream parlor. The family just went there for a birthday party. Although a bit small, they do host a great party!
