Tacos El Rey

We’re BACK…
SECOND TIME around. .
In a week.
We couldn’t go back to Cali without eating here.
We ordered 2 burritos; bean and sirloin, 1 burrito enchilada style.
4 tacos, 2 al pastor and 2 asada.
Like always.
Freaking Delicious. .
Sad…we leave tonight for Cali.
WE SHALL RETURN.

I’ve never had a bad visit to Tacos Del Ray. I’ve enjoyed just about everything on the menu.
Everything is made to order, from fresh ingredients. Add some fresh salsa from their salsa bar, and BAM, you’ll have an absoluately delicious meal.
The staff is always very friendly. The resturant is always clean, including the kitchen area, which you can see from the order counter.
Tacos Del Ray blows away the national Mexican restaurant chains in the area.
Great Mexican food at an affordable price. What’s not to like???

This place is consistently good! Clean restaurant and friendly staff. I love the nachos el Rey! It’s enough to share with at least 2 people. I’ve tried the enchiladas and they were awesome also!

This is sort of Racine’s goto for good Mexican. It’s not my favorite, but it’s great!
Solidly consistent since I first started obsessing on Mexican food in my early 20s, El Rey does everything well, and a few things get knocked the f@$k out of the park.
Al pastor, nachos el Rey, asada… All great. One of the few Mexican joints that I ACTUALLY order chicken in… Not often, but they do have a pretty signature shredded chicken for tacos and enchiladas.
If dining in, get the enchiladas, period. (They sorta re-​coagulate by the time you get em back home.)
The staff are a bucket-​full of smiles, and offer top-​notch service, bringing your order to your table, after a counter-​order style transaction.
They have this one item, called the «sirloin tip burrito.» It’s basically guisado and cheese in a flour tortilla. Stupid, right? So why can’t I stop ordering them??? AWESOME!!!

Love this place! I stick to the Nachos El Rae because I’m boring like that, but I’m never disappointed. Food is always awesome. Friendly, fast service always.

Delicious sirloin tip burrito! Nachos el rey is a must try! But make sure you’re hungry cuz u get a lot of food!!! Mexican pizza is soooo good its like nachos in a tostada! Guacamole is fire! Best place in town for authentic Mexican food!!! If you’re eating in they also have beer and wine coolers! ;) family friendly

This is my favorite place to eat. Whenever I am in Racine I have to eat here! The food is great, the people are great. Food is fast!

One of the many places I miss going to frequently now that I no longer live in racine. The food is fast, fresh and yummy. I love the cheese they use to make their nachos, I could just sit eat those. But I also love their tacos. Service is usually good — can’t say anything about their carry out services since we always dine in. This is on our racine rotation for when we are down in the area.

Must have changed suppliers and/​or cook, something is different, not liking it so much

Fast, cheap, good food. Most places can only give you 2 of those 3. I recommend the sirloin tip burrito, enchilada-​style.
