This place definitely knows how to treat out of town people! Every meal we had was on point, they refilled our drinks without asking! The manager was great and we told him how great his employees were! The steak was great! We were here on business and went back every night while there and we will definitely be back again next time we’re here! Thank you!

Good potato soup, awful ribs! Wife got the loaded chicken, it was rubbery, loaded baked potato had three small strips of cheese, 4 bacon crumbs and butter, I couldn’t even eat the ribs, the beer was cold though.

Whenever I come to Fort Knox, I make it a point to stop by Colton’s Steakhouse and have the Hawaiian Ribeye. They always cook it to perfection and I always have to take half of it home. I highly recommend them for the flavor and the serving size.

Good food, great service, reasonable prices. It has been hit or miss in the past but has been consistently good lately. Meeting room is nice.

This place use to my local fav but over time the food jus ain’t the same anymore. Medium done is well done to some cooks. My plate arrives b4 my kids and they expect me to go ahead and eat it, Nope! I’ll wait till later in 2016, maybe son better cooks will be available then.

I ate here for the first time with my fiancé about two weeks ago. I enjoyed my meal, but did not find it special in any way. I ordered the Hawaiian Ribeye with sweet potato fries and a salad. My fiancé got rib combo. The only thing I really did not enjoy about my meal was the salad, it consisted of a bowl of iceberg lettuce with just a few veggies… Salads as a side should be a little more substantial . I was just disappointed really. Everyone that I had talked to before going raved about their food but honestly as a trained chef I could have made this at home.

The food is okay, the only reason I order take out from them is because it’s close to home. The rolls and house salad are fairly good. Avoid their seafood though, have tried their fried shrimp twice now and it was mush both times and inedible.

A favorite in Radcliff. Near hotels and I65 ramp. Well run place with good food. I am a regular customer and take guest there all the time.

Our family ate here for dinner. We were greeted and seated promptly. The servers were nice and attentive. The restaurant seemed clean and the décor was nice(country rustic with a lot of animals on the walls). I ordered Colton’s loaded chicken for 11.59, my husband ordered the Sante Fe chicken for 11.59, and daughter ordered the Montana Burger for 9.59. Our food came out timely and hot. My chicken was about 6 oz, and came with a side salad. We didn’t think that our chicken dishes were a good value. For the price, we feel like our chicken should have come with more than a side salad. 11 dollars for one chicken breast just seemed a bit much, even though the chicken was covered in cheese and came with two slices of tomato. My husband said he enjoyed the flavor of his chicken, but I didn’t. Have you ever had chicken that seemed like it wasn’t all chicken? That’s what my chicken tasted like; like imitation chicken. Maybe they could’ve included some rice? Anyway, in contrast, daughter’s burger was large and came with a reasonable amount of fries. She really enjoyed her meal. If you visit this restaurant, don’t order the chicken Sante Fe or the Loaded Chicken, unless you have money to waste and order appetizers to help fill you up. Our meals were not a good value and we will not be going back.

Service was great. Got appetizer in less than 5 min. Drink always stayed full. Got steak and ribs cooked perfectly and tasted great. Ribs were tender and falling off the bone. With military discount this is my first 5 stars.

Had the full rack of ribs. Meats was moist and tender. It was a very filling meal. The rolls topped off a already good meal.

I will preface I everything I say with the fact that this is not supposed to be a top notch steak house. The prices are competitive for the area. Also, there is value in the better quality. Yet that is only a step above applebees. You are not going to get a thick cut steak here. That said, the cook does an amazing job with the seasoning and the cook on the steak! Give this guy a real steak and I’m sure it would be close to art. Kim the bartender was very nice and attentive. Although quite busy, she was polite and attentive. The drinks were generous as well. So look around the area and just know where you are. If you want amazing and also expensive drive to Louisville. If you are ok with good enough, yet amazing at that level. This is your place.

I ate here when it first opened a while ago, I can tell you that I was not pleased with the service or food. Today was a totally different experience, the service was fantastic and the food was great! The rolls were hot and soft. When I asked the waiter what changed he said new management has made a big difference. I recommend Coltons to anybody now. Two thumbs up!

This is a very run of the mill steakhouse in the hardin county area. The food is fine and the atmosphere is ok while prices are typical for atmosphere roadhouse. It definitely doesn’t offer anything special that you can’t get better or cheaper at other similar steakhouses. I can’t say to go here if you have other options.

All four of us had Burgers, & we were NOT disappointed. From Medium Rare to Well Done, they were all cooked correctly & juicy. Love the fried pickles as well for an appetizer!

Tried this place twice since it is conveniently located near my hotel and I must say I have been disappointed both times. :( Attempt #1 — ordered a steak(medium), loaded backed potato, and asked if it was possible if I could get a side salad with all the veggies except carrots, I was assured that it wouldn’t be a problem. Ended up sending my steak back for being extremely rare then having to send it back for being too tough to cut and the salad came with extra carrots. Attempt #2 — ordered the double pork chops with sweet potato fried. The sweet potato fries were awesome but the pork chops were unseasoned and too thick to retain any of the juices. The rolls and the sweet tea are probably the only things keeping this place in business. Let me not to forget the waitress -.-. I guess it was the end of her shift so she left in the middle of serving me and let someone else finish the horrible job she started. Thankfully the waitress that took over was great and did a great job of trying to reassure me that terrible meals are not the norm. Overall, I will stop being lazy and venture out to get better quality food.

It’s not that this restaurant is bad, per se; it’s just that they really do nothing special in terms of their food. I mean the place has an interesting design to it with a moose and cattle head hanging on the wall. The free unlimited peanuts are a nice touch, but the food is nothing special and doesn’t particularly warrant a drive from Fort Knox or even the middle of Radcliff. I just wish they could have improved on the food because they did fine on everything else. Anyway, there was a bucket full of peanuts on the table and another empty bucket beside it to dispose of the shells in. It’s a fun little novelty, but not enough to impress me. Their dinner rolls were warm but also quite generic and possibly store-bought. We ordered a fried onion appetizer which was good and more than enough for three people, but I felt sick after eating it for a while. I ordered a Caesar salad as a side that they brought to the table in very little time, but again it had the same familiar store-bought taste to it. My steak and lobster dish was quite ordinary; the steak was small and somewhat plain while even the lobster managed to be nothing spectacular. It’s not every day that most people get to eat lobster; in fact, I remember last having it six and a half years ago, and it was simply amazing back then. Here, it just kind of felt like they were cutting corners. The steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots off to the side were largely devoid of flavor. I can’t complain about the service, though. Our waitress was exceptionally nice to us and happy to tell us about her military husband of 23 years. I get the feeling that this is the type of establishment that would typically attract people of a military background, but it’s somewhat far off-post and even outdone by several restaurants closer than it. Also, I don’t know whether this is due to their food not being cooked right or some other sort of contamination, but I felt rather sick to my stomach after eating here. Again, it’s not that the food here is bad, but I’ve had far more enjoyable experiences elsewhere.

I’ve never wrote a review before. This was so horrible I felt a need to help people who want to take a chance on eating here. This is the worst food I’ve ever ate before!!! My wife’s potato soup looked like mayonaise. She said it tasted that way to! I’ve never ate steak sauce with my steak until now! The filet was so bad I had to drown it with A-1. Save yourself the time. This place is straight up BAD!!!
