Better than Big Lots. I’ve found some decent deals. Stuff varies for each visit, it’s an outlet store. Couple of things I’ve bought: Simoniz Wiper Blades, good stuff $ 2.99 each. Can’t beat that. Books are cheap and great Christmas gifts. They have a lot of those tabletop books, Cars of the 50s, American Presidents, etc. Car floor mats: $ 6 for a set. Again, can’t go wrong. Hamilton Beach Commercial Coffee Urn: makes a ton of coffee for the office or whatnot. It was half of amazons price, whatever it was. I recently bought this automotive contact paper. It was cheap at $ 2.99 a roll. Tshirts as cheap as $ 2.99. Speaking of coffee, they always keep a coffee urn in the back of the store. Free coffee is good coffee. I always get a cup. K-cups are generally cheap. They always have electric heaters. And they are reasonable. I’ve bought some good deals, just dig around. It’s like a better big lots. Big lots does mostly their own China imports now. Ollies at least has some name brand stuff. It’s worth a look.

Eh — I mean, it’s fine… And clean, with adequate aisles /space. Easy parking — easy to find. But their prices aren’t actually always«bargains.» Not even close. Not complaining, just noting for folks not familiar with the brand. I’ve found several of their items listed on Amazon or other sites for lower prices. There are deals to be had, though, of course. A few were very good. Pay attention. Just make sure to do your research /know what a realistic price point is for whatever you’re looking for, of course keeping in mind that«Ollie’s Army»(their term — euuuuuuch, I really *loathe* when companies pull this kind of crap –an Army is an Army, not dictated by a yellow plastic card given to anyone able to recite their email address) membership earns the bearer a 10% discount. Because whose standards aren’t worth a 10% discount??? I just… Ugh. :-/ And, yes, am I being driven by semantics? Sure. But why is it ok to cartoonize /minimize significant service to and sacrifice for others so that some corporation can make a buck on selling odd lots? Eff that noise. Like any other discount store, their fare runs more towards the«stuff I don’t really, really need, anyway» category, Big Lots with higher prices, but(on average) potential for better quality. All told: don’t plan on going back for another visit.

Get your good stuff cheap here. It is a brand new store that’s located in the old peddlers mall. A few stores down from family dollar. The parking lot is odd that the rows are really far apart. It was really packed with customers and employees they are very friendly and happy to have jobs. And customers who wanted to save money. This place has all types of close out tools, building supplies, home goods and kitchen ingredients I would say its like a Big lots store. With a bigger footprint. It was really packed and difficult to shop today but it was a chance to see the grand opening. One complaint this place packed like sardines and the store seems narrow and tight.
