Chris’s Steakhouse

The atmosphere was really nice. The furniture and everything was clean and new. The serve was really nice and fast. The food was totally over prized. My husband loved his T bone steak which was $ 35 alone. He asked for loaded potato and got a potato with 3 crumbs of bacon and a Lil cheese. The sour cream and butter he got in some cheap Little plastic things like you would get in a fast food restaurant. The crab cake was also a joke $ 10 for 5 small tiny crab ball with a terrible mustard sauce. The salad bar was good and the salad was fresh and good besides the bread crumbs they were too soft. The drinks were super expensive but I guess OK nothing really special. Overall a good night but not a place I would die to come back to you.

We had our company Christmas party for our Cumberland county office Tuesday night. I planned the event and we had around 15 people. I am torn on this rating, maybe a 3.5 rating would be more fitting. The restaurant was decorated beautifully for Christmas. They had our tables ready when we arrived. We were assigned two waitresses. One was warm and friendly and did a great job, the other seemed to be very unhappy and was not pleasant, answering a few questions quite rudely. We did not enjoy her. Perhaps she was having an off night. The service was pretty prompt, but the not so great waitress kept complaining to us about how many people they were serving that night. And proceeded to tell us they didn’t have many dessert choices for us because of all the people. She kept going on and on about how they didn’t have enough cheesecake, so of course all my staff then wanted cheesecake. In the end they somehow found enough cheesecake and offered us some (clearly looked like Cheesecake Factory cheesecake, perhaps when having parties order a few more boxes?!? Seems simple enough). When I’m spending 700 bucks at a restaurant, I really don’t want to hear any complaining. The food was good. Everyone seemed pleased with their entrée. Most people either had the ribeye or fillet. I had stuffed flounder and it was pretty good as well. Everyone had a nice time. The house wine was decent. I’d plan another party here in the future.
