Évaluation du lieu : 3 Rahway, NJ
PWS is an Amateur wrestling event held monthly in Rahway NJ. Many stars that go on to the ECW, WCE, TNA, WWE or have fallen from their regular line end up in PWS. I went to this show on a cold January Saturday night, the place was PACKED with ppl. I would have guess close to 500 ppl showed up. Lots of interesting looking ppl who look like professionals to ex Cons. . The show was action packed. Many wrestlers from the tri-state were active at the venue. NJ and NY wrestlers were heavily present. Several one on one matches including former WWE talent John Morrison and, a few tag team matches(Team Handicap — a one legged wrestler and a wrestler with a deformed hand beat the tag team champs, the Heavenly Bodies). They also had a 30 man Royal Rumble — each man is throw over the top rope and eliminated until one man is left(winner get a shot at the Champ). The last match of the night was the Barbed wire match! Yep, they stripped the elastic rope for metal that pierces the skin and commands blood. Yes there were kids present during the match too. There really wasn’t alot of blood, just a little across the forehead. One of the cool actions of the match was when the wrestler climbed the ladder in the ring, jumped off the top and landed out side the ring on top of his opponent who was passed out on a wooden table. The crowd exploded with cheers and the repeated chant of «Holy $hit… Holy $hit…Holy $hit…» Old school wrestling legends were at the event like WCW’s Raven, ECW’s Sabu, WWF Ricky«The Dragon» Steam boat, WWF The Rockers. Mr Subs supported the event for snacks and sandwiches. There were many souvenirs on sale in the back. From old school wrestlers, action figures, t shirts etc. For $ 20 tickets you can’t lose. I had fun and would go again.
