Witty’s is excellent in every way. The store offers an outstanding beer selection, various hard to find products, great customer service, and, if no one has mentioned it yet, great prices. Even the cigarette prices are low! Highly recommended.

Huge selection and a staff ready and willing to help with anything. Beer, wine, spirits, mixers and ice are all available.
Employees are constantly moving throughout the isles, so it’s easy to grab someone if you need help. They’re willing to entertain all your requests… «Can you help me find some beer that’s called Jewish Rye by Schmaltz to bring to my Unilocal Jewish deli event?» or «I want to put back this bottle back but have no idea where I grabbed it within this isle.» Thank you to that kind soul for not laughing when the stand was right next to me.
The store was just remodeled creating nice wide isles and cleaning the whole thing up. Prices are right too. All in all, this is my favorite area liquor store.

Wide variety of alcohol with a little bit of everything. Great craft beer selection, particularly for NJ, and a super friendly staff willing to offer suggestions or satisfy custom orders. I come in almost weekly and have yet to be unable to find a new drink I’m excited to try. Great store, you won’t be disappointed!

Was in jersey last weekend, thought about having some scotch, went to this place and wow, I was just amused by the amount of variety they have in this store. The store is really nicely done with amazing décor, new paint, new coolers and new hardwood floors. The collection they had of wine whiskey and spirits is just amazing. Strongly recommend this store if you want anything related to alcohol. Good luck guys.

Wow, Witty’s has changed. This place was always a sad, little dingy packy store with a lot of unused space. This past weekend I went in just to grab a 6-​pack to celebrate a World Cup game win (though I was disappointed they don’t carry Imperial beer) and when I walked inside, was blown away — they’ve completely redone the space. New flooring and shelves completely jam packed with just about every kind of alcohol you want (of course, except Imperial). Even a Cakebread Chardonnay which I typically have to travel to Chelsea Market to get! Hallelujah! Well done Witty’s, I’m your new biggest fan (JUST GET THE IMPERIAL!).

These are my go to guys. The wife and I have delt with them for years. The personal service is great.
They recently went through a change of ownership and I really like the new folks. They have been having a series of customer appreciation type activities like a gourmet food truck and different purveyors with their goods. It’s been a fun re-​opening.
I appreciate the fact that they take their time with a wine-​novice like me. They have a good selection within the price point we prefer. I’m more of a spirits and beer guy. And they always have a good deal on a premium vodka or whiskey which is fine with me.
They have a good beer selection and they do kegs. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Love these guys!!!

this is my all-​time favorite liquor store for one reason and one reason only. they carry don q rum. for those of you not in the know, don q is the rum puerto ricans keep for themselves while they export crappy ass bacardi out to the rest of the world. it really is like liquid gold. anyone that has ever had a mojito made by me can attest to this.
i stumbled upon witty’s while googling don q a long time ago and have been a loyal customer ever since. the prices per bottle are hella cheap. they even carry don q in handles. the shipping is where they get you but that’s to be expected since they use fed ex ground. the shipping would be my only complaint and it’s only because fed ex ground takes FOREVER (like a week) and i hate waiting. overall, i’m happy that they ship to me all the way out in california.
my latest shipment arrived yesterday. the don and i will be catching up all weekend.
