These cookies are even better than my childhood memories. I am in love. The sugar cookies with pink frosting is my favorite for sure.

Bar none, the best cookies around. They start with butter, flour, butter, sugar, butter, chocolate, butter. You get the point. Large, soft cookies in a large variety. I am partial to the snickerdoodle with frosting sprinkled with cinnamon. I also like their deep chocolate, and just about every other flavor. The real butter cream frosting makes a big difference.
My one request has so far been ignored. I really want a deep chocolate cookie with a coffee butter cream frosting. I will keep badgering them until I get it and will make numerous trips every month.

Best cookies in the Pacific Northwest. If you think I’m exaggerating — go try one! It’s hard to find a bakery these days that doesn’t compromise their ingredients — but here one is! Real butter, fresh, local eggs and even a cold, bubbly glass of real old fashioned whole milk to compliment it! If I’m out cycling the Chehalis Western Trail — I always stop off in Rainier for a real treat at the Main Street Cookie Company! You can also find them at Batdorf and Broson’s coffee houses and Metropolitan Markets!

These cookies are delicious! If you’re wondering ‘Does butter really make a difference?’ Yes, yes it does. These cookies are thick– DO NOT promise your kids they get a whole one before you know what you’re getting into. I repeat– NO PROMISES!
Plenty of variety in the display case, coffee smells good. Owners work the counter. And just so you know– there’s nowhere to sit down. It’s an in-​and-​out deal.
I always buy the amazon local punchcard so they come out to $ 1 ea (rather than $ 2), quarter them and freeze some. If/​when they stop doing amazon deals I will still be a happy customer :)

It;s been 2 years since I «found» Main Street Cookie Co,
An update 1) finds them still in business (thank Goodness) and
2) still making delish, large cookies of all sorts (double thank Goodness)
Well worth the commute from the sordid environs of West Olympia and Crapital Mall.

Couldn’t drive through Rainier without getting a cookie. Lemon is my fav. OK I had 2 lemon cookies, Chocolate for my son after dinner tonight. It is a good thing that I don’t live in Rainier or I would be here daily.

By far the BEST, and I mean the BEST cookies I’ve ever had. I have a sweet tooth and a love for cookies and this quaint little bakery has some of the most delicious and wonderful cookies ever! I am from CA, family in WA and I will drive to Rainier to get a fresh cookie. Fear not, I have found them in cafes and coffee shops in the Olympia/​Lacey area. But go to the bakery to get them! Watching them put freshly baked cookies into the glass display=heaven
My favorite is the chocolate walnut with a little cinnamon, the snickerdoodle, and the sugar cookie with pink frosting (and I usually hate frosting of any kind).
You will not regret it, once you start you can’t stop!

Main Street Cookies is a gem. I bring these cookies with me all over Washington and Oregon for my customers and have always received rave reviews. Watching the cookies being made in the background, the smell — amazing! Truly a small town business that deserves recognition!

If you are driving through Rainier, you must stop by and see the nice folks at Main Street Cookie… They make the BEST cookie around. It’s all about the butter… It is worth the stop!!!
