Oh my gosh, do not go here! This is pure business. I have years of acupuncture experience and decided to try this place out. Overpriced and the wife of the main practitioner is just plain rude. Do not run a business if you do not have people skills! You can find more expertise with a more traditional Chinese practitioner, I would recommend Dr. ping in Durham. Knowledgeable and none of this ‘package deal’, ‘let me give you a power point about acupuncture’ stuff. This place needs to focus more on healing instead of getting money from clients

For the past year I have been dealing with pain from Rotator Cuff Tendonitis (irritation & swelling of the tendons of the shoulder). I tried Physical Therapy for 2 months with minimal positive results.
Then one weekend I exacerbated the problem by spreading mulch for several hours. I was in constant pain and nothing seemed to give me relief. I heard that acupuncture can be an effective treatment for chronic shoulder pain so I decided to give it a try. The results were immediate and my pain was relieved by 90% after the first treatment. I have been going to weekly treatments for the past 4 weeks and I am amazed at how much better I feel.
I went to Advanced Health Care Solutions (AHC)
which is a family owned business at the corner of Strickland and Creedmoor and talked to them about my issue. They recommended that I have a Digital Thermal Imaging Scan which showed the areas of inflammation around my shoulder and neck area. Then using the scans Dr. Marc Cutler, the Acupuncturist began treatment. Dr. Cutler was professional and knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. His staff was also courteous and attentive to my needs. As background Dr. Cutler is a past President of the North Carolina Acupuncture Association and has operated one of the most successful Acupuncture & Integrative Practices in NC for the past 20 years (see his bio on their website). Fortunately, Acupuncture works great for rotator cuff tendinitis. First, it works by increasing the circulation to the area and decreasing inflammation in the tendons. Secondly, acupuncture stimulates regrowth of the cells and tissues in an injured area. And as I experienced, it helped to reduce my pain significantly which was a huge relief.
