I can only tell you about the place as far as location, cleanliness and ambiance. I get my eyebrows done via permanent makeup… aka tattoo and my gal has recently been invited to this location to work on her clients that live closer to north Raleigh. The location is great is for me. The area is in a busy part of north Raleigh but is central depending on where you might be coming from. I was about 10 minutes early for my appointment and my eyebrow gal had also just arrived. She greeted me by name and told me she’d be with me at 10. The lady at the desk greeted me and told me to have a seat in the waiting area. The area has a gas fireplace and a TV and lots of places to get comfy. I saw they had a Keurig but was not offered any. At 10 my gal came and got me and we went back into the surgery room. She got her stuff ready and went to work. 30 minutes later I was done. Walked back out and the front desk said good bye and that was that. Now, I will say my MIL had her eyebrows done a month ago and told me they asked if she would be interested in having a skin consultation which would cost 50 $. I have to wonder how that was even brought up as I was in and out without more than a greeting by he staff that works there. All in all seems like a decent place but not one I would venture to on my own. If you are interested in permanent makeup check out my review for LHP Permanent Cosmetics.

Went in to see Dr Hudak(had shingles in my eye) we talked for about 30 mins about everything except why I was there. A nurse knocked on the door saying 2 patients were watching and next thing I know in less than 5 mins she has injected filler under my eyes. Worst experience EVER !!! Had to go back and get it all dissolved(so complete waste of money) asked for a refund but was told NO. My eyes looked terrible !! I would have been happy if she offered a credit… but nothing. left beyond unhappy.

Nice setting, very med-spa. I wound up here because the laser at my spa was broken, and they used this facility in the interim. Front desk was friendly and made sure I was comfortable and quickly taken care of. They didn’t even mind me staying afterward in the lounge, to use their free wifi, and answer a few emails! My complaint is that the laser hurt like a sunnuva. I know that laser hair removal isn’t exactly a hot stone massage. But I’ve been to multiple facilities now and undergone treatments from several different lasers. This was the worst by far. The technician didn’t use a cooling gel, because the machine blasts cold air on the targeted area. Trust me, that cold air feels more like a mild coastal breeze under the strength of this laser. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, but really suffered through this one. Two weeks out, and efficacy seems no better than the other lasers I’ve encountered. So why put yourself through it. If heading here for laser hair treatments, I recommend taking some Tylenol beforehand. And request ice packs(if they don’t have cooling gel). As always, consult with the technician, and communicate during the treatment, to make sure they’re using an appropriate laser level for your skin tone, etc.
