Showed up for a 1:45 appointment to find a note on the door that the office had moved down the street 4 months prior(my son goes for check ups every 6 months). They never informed me they had moved. Called immediately and drove over to the new office. Told they would«try to work us in» since we were so late… again, we were only«so late» because we didn’t know they had moved! At 3:00 they called back our doctor’s 2:30 appointment and we were STILL in the waiting room. We gave up and left. DON’T GOHERE unless you have a wide open schedule and enjoy waiting rooms.

Every time I look up the office number to call Allergy Partners, I’m always so surprised to see the poor Unilocal rating. We’ve had such good experiences here! Dr. Deogun is so caring and thorough. The nurses are kind and patient. The allergy shot clinic staff are efficient and flexible, and great with children. They moved a couple of blocks down Durant, and their new office is so much easier to get in and out of, and also more spacious. Yes, sometimes you have to wait, but every doctor I go to is the same way, so I don’t hold that against them. Love Dr. Deogun, and highly recommend her especially. She continued to work to lessen my allergies after my ENT gave up, and she once brought in a movie for my kids to watch during my appointment. Can’t beat that!

I came to APR as recommended by a family member. My first appointment was with Dr. Mankad. We discussed my issues and symptoms of allergies and asthama. I looked at the poster of inhalers on the wall and pointed out the one I used and how often. Come to find out, it was an inhaler that was to be used for emergency purposes only. She totally baited me. As soon as she found out, she gave me a very stern lecture of how my asthama was not under control and I needed to take serious consideration of this issue. She recommended a different inhaler and some meds. I took her advice and followed her instructions by the book. Since that day of first meeting her, it has been about 7 months now. I still have the same emergency inhaler I had that day and I rarely ever use it. Thanks to the meds and different inhaler, my asthama is under control and I am able to run long distances for exercise. I am truly thankful for Dr. Mankad and her staff at APR. She is a life saver!

Not really a fan of this money racket. I was experiencing very bad allergic reactions. So I called and scheduled an appointment with them stating they would schedule an allergy test. Needless to say after a $ 100 co-pay I was literally told that it was probably just a virus and was given a «hand-out» about symptons. Literally the Doctor(came in with blue jeans. «probably was a P. A») was seen for less than 5 minutes. The office would not test me because there were no symptoms.(even though i was covered in hives) would not recommend this money racket.

After a recent allergy scare, I decided I was long overdue for allergy testing. Since I have always had allergy issues, with most recent unknown allergy development, my primary care provider referred me to Allergy Partners of Raleigh. APofR is located on the WakeMed North Campus so it is sort of a mess with parking right now with all of the construction going on. The building is really nice though, with a fountain out front. It was turned off since it is currently winter, but I imagine that in the spring/summer, it will be a nice touch. The scheduling process was very easy. They have an online portal so I was able to to all of the intro paperwork online. I got an email, and a text reminder of my appointment with a link on both to confirm. Not sure if they have had a lot of «no shows» or not… it was a bit redundant as one will suffice, especially when I confirm with the link provided, but maybe they are just trying to cover their bases. I met with Dr. Deogun, who seemed pleasant, thorough, and knowledgeable. The appointment was very quick though, and I was referred to have some labwork done and return in two weeks. My issues(Why I only gave it 2 stars): I originally had an appt. scheduled for noon. I got a call on the day of the appt asking if I could come in earlier. Since I was rearranging my day, I asked if I was sure that if I came in earlier, I would actually see the Dr. at 11:15am and not noon. I was told, «absolutely, thank you for coming in earlier». I arrived at 11:10am and the dr saw me at NOON. There were no apologies, no explanation, nothing. I was going to leave when I had waited for 45 minutes, but I had already paid my copay and didn’t want to lose that. I am still contemplating if I should return or not. The office is convenient, and the Dr was nice, but I can’t seem to get over the fact that they don’t respect anyone else’s schedule, when clearly, with all of the reminder notifications, they want me to respect theirs.
