I got a groupon for this massage and I was so impressed! I love deep tissue and that is exactly what I got. Very professional, great location and I left feeling relaxed and my muscles released. Excellent!

VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! Shere Carinci, Owner of Bodi Wisdom, was VERY rude to me over the phone today. She cancelled my massage appointment after arguing with me about the miss communication of me purchasing a 1-​hour massage through Groupon for my husband as a gift for our wedding anniversary and him missing the appointment because the Groupon went to an old e-​mail address that he doesn’t use anymore. My husband missing his appointment has nothing to do with the massage that I purchased for myself. She not only was rude and not willing to reschedule my husband’s massage or provide a refund, but she also cancelled my massage appointment without my consent. After receiving the cancellation e-​mail from Shere, I called her several times to try to understand why she cancelled my massage appointment and ask about a refund and she did not answer the phone. The good thing is that I purchased the massages through Groupon, so I was able to get a full refund for both mine and my husband’s massages. Had Groupon not provided me with a refund, I would have lost $ 68. That said, I would NOT recommend ANYONE purchase ANY services offered by Bodi Wisdom.

I was verbally & physically accosted there. I was harassed while lying, undressed on the massage table. When I said I felt uncomfortable, I was told to get dressed & that the appointment was over. So, I got off the table and Shere said, disgusted, «I don’t want to see that». (You’ve never seen a topless woman? You’re a massage therapist? Grow up). As I gathered my belongings, I asked Shere to send me an email confirming that the massage service had not taken place so I could be refunded. What did she do? She PUT HER HANDS ON ME & STARTING PUSHING ME OUT OF THE ROOM! Needless to say, she was completely unprofessional. And, I didn’t receive an email from her confirming the cancelation.
I’m still shocked that she tried to start a physical altercation with me. This may not be Shere’s usual behavior, but do you want to be the person who gets her on a bad day? How would you react if she pushed you? Do you want to put yourself in a potentially bad situation when you can just go to a more professional place? You should walk out of a massage therapists office feeling better about yourself. Don’t risk it. You have other options in the area.

Shere is fantastic! Professional, skilled, and friendly. I enjoyed my massage thoroughly. So much that I’m going back again for 90 minute in a couple weeks! Shere used the right amount of pressure, worked the right areas, and spent time focusing on my «problem areas» to get the blood flowing. I felt great after I left and can’t wait to go back again.
The location address is different from what is listed above (1110 Wake Forest Rd. is the current address), but I think it is the same business. She may have moved since this listing was originally posted on Unilocal.
At any rate, the massage space is clean, comfortable and easy to get to from downtown where I live and work. I bought the Groupon and I’ve already told some of my friends about it, as well.
