I’ve been coming to Bryce for over a year now. I almost don’t even want to give him five stars just because I don’t want to share him! Bryce is a great hair stylist and I will always be a loyal customer.

I have been looking for a new stylist(harder to find than a Dr.!) and found Bryce. He is great, cool sense of humor and has put up with me having to keep changing my appt. Best of all he totally ROCKS! Five thumbs up for my fabulous new haircut!

Be warned that this place is not easy to find. First of all, my GPS, picked up the old address, so I ended up speaking to Bryce about where the new address was. He was not very forthcoming. It ended up being in a place where there were condominiums full of little tiny businesses. Not all of them had a sign for every business where the actual business was or on the big sign where you enter the shopping center(didn’t find this out until later). I drove up to the building that he described in the directions. I was 10 minutes late because of accidentally driving to the old address first. My mani pedi lady answered and I said I just want to make sure I am at the right place. I see that you are sharing the floor with an engineering place. She said um no, you might be in Georgetown Commons. We are right next to there. I wandered over to the next shopping center with little condominium businesses as well and look for it over there. I had no luck. I drove further down the road to see if there was another shopping center. There wasn’t another one, so I turned around the first place I could, which was pretty far down. It took forever. I ended up back at the same place where the engineering business was. I called again and said I can’t even think of anywhere else you would be. I said there is a Well Dun Hair here and they said yes, go through there and come up the stairs. The mani pedi lady said we would have to reschedule unless I wanted her to «really cut fat». I said well would I get a discount if you did that? She suddenly got really rude and said in her 2 packs of cigarettes a day voice«No, why would I do that?» I said well because I am not going to get the full treatment. She said you are already getting the discount from Groupon. I said okay, well what other appointments are open? She said the next one would be next week. I said well I am going to be out of town. Let’s make it a month from now because I am going to have to get a mani pedi somewhere else now, today or tomorrow. She did not like that at all and got very offensive. I said I am just a little frustrated because I was here 20 minutes ago, but you don’ t have a sign anywhere and you have no idea that you are right next to an engineering business. Then Bryce chimed in and said they were very simple directions for you to follow. I said okay, I will just make an appointment later. I walked down the stairs and Bryce stuck his douchey, orange clown head out the door and said«Don’t bother coming back». Honestly, I have no faith that anyone in the creative business is going to be good at what they do if they have that little attention to detail. Their customer service is probably the worst I have ever received. Any mani pedi is never going to be worth $ 90 and I am sure that nail art would have been extra, if they even did that. What a total waste of a day. Do yourself a favor and go to The Nail Boutique in Georgetown Commons right next to Pembroke Square. Not only does Charlotte do a fantastic job, but she is very personable, she keeps costs down(only takes cash), and received a 99 health rating. If anyone has ever looked on WRAL site for salon ratings you will find very few have managed to achieve this. She said she got a point taken off because of a smudge on the mirror!

Found this place browsing groupon while visiting the Raleigh/Durham area on business. The coupon stated valid for one day before 8:30pm. I Purchased the groupon and arrived at the shop at 6:45pm. Upon arrival the doors were locked and there was no one inside. I called the number woman stated that she was gone for the day.

I’ve been getting mani/pedi’s for many years and I paid $ 28 for a Groupon for this and it was worth about half at most. This was very disappointing. To think that someone would pay $ 90 for a mani/pedi there is unthinkable. Let me start with the good: my nails look nice, she used OPI polish. The bad: there was no pampering, no lotions going on and off feet/hands, no hands in mitts, no exfoliating, no massage, no relaxation. My hands/feet would have gotten more pampering from any of the quickie nail places you don’t need an appointment. Let me repeat, no massage, she barely put on enough lotion to moisturize a dime for both my hands and feet. No good smells, no return for me.

As I said back in September, Bryce’s is THE place to go for total satisfaction with your hair… no matter what condition it is in. Bryce is the artist we all look for but very seldom can find(and then they are usually moving !!).
