Delicious coffee but at a higher price than usual. $ 4 for medium iced coffee where as Starbucks is a large for $ 3. Friendly staff, but a little too expensive.

Hands down best customer service around. I have been through the drive thru many times and am always greeted by the friendliest staff! Today was no exception, both the gentleman who took my order at the board and the lady who took my payment at the window were an absolute delight! Made me smile on a chilly day!

This place used to be a great place to go for coffee. Now… I was just at the drive-thru and it took 15 to get my coffee. They actually had me pull forward because«it’s gonna take a minute for the coffee» this is ridiculous. Thanks for making me late. Ps. Their rating is only a 91!

Great location here, great seating. Would return but for the rapidly strobing outdoor LED flood light at the entrance. The light is flashing unobstructed into the corner seating area, rendering it inhospitable. What’s inexplicable is other patrons claim it’s been faulty like this for MONTHS. Employees don’t shade the window, disconnect the light. It keeps flashing like a disco strobe. Employees offered lame excuse like«we’re waiting on parts, they’re from Asia.» What, are they being shipped via donkey on the Silk Road? This is ridiculousness raised to the level of art. Try your damnedest to make your café a welcoming place for return clientele, but tolerate aggravating things like this that drive customers to the nearby Starbucks, or another local spot. Caribou needs their collective heads examined. NOT returning to this location. EVER. Pffft.

I frequent the Caribou drive-thru. The service is always excellent. I usually just get a large coffee and an egg and cheese on a skinny everything bagel. Their coffee blends are delicious as are the breakfast sandwiches. When I’m feeling extra fancy, I’ll get a regular latte or their Northern Lights latte and it’s way better than that Starbucks nonsense.

The coffee here is really good but in my opinion, a bit overpriced. Their iced coffee is delicious but I’d rather pay the 2 dollars rather 4 dollars and get the same thing at Dunkin Donuts.

I love breugger’s and I love caribou. However, this place manages to do both poorly. I have been here on numerous occasions for breakfast– for such a large place there is little seating. And they have never once failed to get the bagel completely wrong in some aspect. Sometimes it’s getting a smoked salmon bagel and ending up with tomato even though I asked for none, sometimes it’s asking and paying for extra cream cheese and getting less than other locations put on for a regular bagel & c.c. My mom and I have never had a good experience here trying to get a bagel. Their coffee is «okay». As someone earlier pointed out, coffee for non coffee drinkers type place. If not for the Starbucks 100 ft from here with better food and coffee offerings, I might come back for it. I was excited when they opened the combination, but their employees obviously lack proper training on how to do both sides. Instead I will get bagels from the glenwood avenue breugger’s instead.

I have been to this location on numerous occasions. Every time the people working there have been very kind, HOWEVER… They can’t get anyone’s order right to save their lives. After the first 5 times of them getting my order wrong, I simply went to this particular store because of the convenient location. But after the 9th, 9TH time of this place not preparing my food correctly I was finished with their terrible service. Another notable fact is that the drive through is so slow that I have seen two people actually leave while waiting on their food(3 including me). These people are very nice, but nonetheless amateurs that can’t master one skill: toasting a freakin bagel. Would not recommend this terrible service to anyone.

I really enjoyed this Caribou — low-key, friendly, and quick. Drink was perfect and was consistent with the quality I receive at other Caribou locations. Inside didn’t have the Northern lodge feel of the other chain locations I’ve been to, but still love it as a hangout place.

Great location as it is separated from the commotion. Parking may be on the more difficult side though. There is a drive through option. Always very friendly service as I tend to hold a lot of my business meetings here. Great selection of seating from long table, to high tops, to small tables to comfy single leather chairs. I enjoy the upbeat vibes and the iced tea selection is always my go-to.

I am a Caribou girl. I’m not a huge coffee drinker but, when I do drink it — I like it sweet. My «coffee pallete» is sweet — white chocolate mocha sweet. Caribou does sweet coffee extremely well. Their coffee is smooth — smoother than Starbucks. I prefer it to Starbucks any day. Today, I ordered one of my favorite drinks a Campfire mocha. When you order one of the sweet coffee drinks from Caribou, you get to choose which type of chocolate you want for your drink — dark, milk or white. For the Campfire mocha, I choose milk chocolate. It is lovely. They then top it with miniature marshmallows. Yum! During the Christmas season, I order the Ho-Ho mint mocha with white chocolate. Also delicious! A bonus about this location — it has a drive through and also has a Bruegger’s bagel shop inside too.

Always on point with my drink. I think they actually made me a button on their POS system because my drink order is so long. They always seem to have it done so fast and with such consistency. Andrew is always super friendly and the staff at the Togo window are too. Thanks!

5 star of a chain coffee place. Caribou and Brugger’s Bagels has teamed up. interesting!!! We actually had a bagel sandwich that had a REALEGG on it. so many places have a ‘heat and go’ preformed food stuff(barf barf barf). the woman there was honest and told us one egg sandwich was a ‘premade’ variety and we went with the fresh egg sandwich and it was very good. GOODBYESTARBUCKS! HAPPYSTAFFPEOPLESTODAY!

I have used this caribou only as a drive thru. Taste and service wise, they come out good. See my other review on Caribou at Brier Creek for what to look for.

I never really wanted to review chain franchises(like Caribou) because they’re pretty much the same everywhere you go… I joined Unilocal to review and support local restaurants. However, this Caribou, I HAVE to rave about. The food/drinks are all the same BUT the service is unbelievable. The employees are so kind and friendly. I come here on the regular and the baristas/cashiers/workers never fail to take care of each customer full well! I’ve had small conversations with at least one employee every time I’m there. They always have a smile on their face regardless of how busy it gets. Also, the place is super clean, bright, and very spacious! Interior decoration is quite lovely~ BONUS: they also offer Bruegger’s Bagels! **This will probably be one of the few times I EVER review a chain franchise– yep, this one is THAT awesome. Sigh, if only the world consisted of more people this nice…

We made a special trip to see this updated Caribou. I was looking forward to checking it out and by the looks of the parking lot, so were a lot of other people! It looks brand new inside and there was barely a place to sit. I quickly counted at least eight people behind the counter in various places so figured it would move pretty quickly. It did, but not without glitches. We just wanted to get regular old coffee, nothing fancy, but couldn’t find it on the board above. In the midst of feeling rushed to keep things moving, the cashier really offered little help. After finally getting the point across that we just wanted two plain cups of coffee and paying for it, we saw a small sign next to the cashier showing what we were looking for. Now why don’t they have that posted up on the board with all the other coffees? Who knows, but it didn’t feel like things were off to a great start. The coffee was good, typical good Caribou, so no complaints there. We looked for a place to sit and all that was available was a long table for about 8 – 10 people. There were only two of us and we felt a little silly being the only ones taking up space at it, but there was no where else to sit. This table is pretty much right when you come in the joint, which seems a little out of place to me. Yes, they offer Bruegger’s bagels, which you see when initially approaching the counter. It doesn’t look like as many choices as your typical stand alone, but at least they have them. You have to continue down the rest of the counter to order coffee. Have to say I liked the setup at the Caribou/Bruegger’s combo that was in Cary off High House & Cary Parkway better, but unfortunately they closed the Caribou side. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to visit this location again, but if I was in the neighborhood and wanted coffee I would. As big as it seems inside, there doesn’t seem to be as much seating as it could hold. I think ditching that huge table would help.

It’s open it’s open! NOW not only can you get great coffee, but you can also eat Brueggers bagels at the same time. Oh the joy! The excitement! With a new look and great employees along with a combo Caribou and Brueggers all in the same place, whats not to love?

Went here today for the first time. The staff here is super friendly, and we had no trouble with the ordering system. You have to remember that a combo Bru/Bou is a new thing. So nobody is quite used to it yet(staff included). However, once you get the hang, you’ll do fine. They were eager to please, and clearly happy to be there. The food is… well…its Brueggers. For me, this is a good thing. I love Brueggers. I eat there all the time, mostly for breakfast but sometimes for lunch. I love it so much, in fact, that I recently paid to be a 2014 Bottomless Mug member and, at this location anyway, that’s where the problem is. Since all the drinks here are Caribou, and none of Brueggers regular coffee drinks are available, us Bottomless members are left out of the fun. Personally, I happen to really like Brueggers coffee. I like it better, in fact, than Caribou. And since being a Bottomless member means my coffee is free, this location is problematic. Bottomless isn’t cheap, so going to a Brueggers where I’d have to pay for coffee essentially means paying twice. No thanks. Now, I completely understand this. This isn’t a complete Brueggers(the menu isn’t complete), and Caribou’s coffee is very much the point on the drink side. But since the food is no better(but no worse) than any other Brueggers,(of which there are several in the immediate area) I can’t see myself ever returning to this location. I just don’t ever want a latté that much. I would say some sort of posted sign that Bottomless cards will not apply at this location would be nice. I wish them luck because they were all super nice, and I don’t doubt that this location will be successful. But if you’re looking for me, I’ll be at the one at Pleasant Valley.

This Caribou recently had a face lift and just reopened with a Bruegger’s Bagel now attached to it. I’ve always liked this Caribou because it’s spacious, has a drive-thru and it’s easy to park. Being that they just reopened they seem to have numerous employees and are well staffed. They have been walking around making sure all their customers have been satisfied with their service today. They even walked around with a few hot bagel bites! I’m always looking for a coffee shop I can work at that has good food. Being that I’m a little addicted to Bruegger’s this will be a great fit for me. I gotta say the only thing I don’t like about the whole Caribou/Bruegger partnership is I actually like Bruegger’s green mountain coffee better than Caribou’s coffee but oh well I guess I can’t have it both ways right? This place is crazy busy and really loud so bring those headphones with you if your looking to get some work done. They kept the same great patio that has always been here which is awesome for the warmer months. Overall a nice addition to the neighborhood.

The baristas are always nice. It’s a nice location to find a cozy seat, have a hot cup of coffee, and work from your laptop. On this visit, I spent quite a few hours working. I decided to try something different so I ordered the triple grilled cheese sandwich. It was just ok. The bread wasn’t grilled enough and the cheese could of been melted just a little more. The free wifi is not the best either. If you have to make a left turn onto Durleigh Rd, prepare to play a game of chicken. It’s a terrible intersection.
