Earp Scott C Dr Dntst

I had a dental emergency on a Sunday night. Just moved here, so did not yet have a dentist. Called another dentist whose website said ²⁴⁄₇ availability for emergencies. Well, no one from that office even bothered to call me back. So, I called Dr. Earp’s office first thing Monday morning. They got me in that afternoon and set me up with a new crown! His staff was very personable and the dental assistant was great! Dr. Earp was very low key, not pushy at all. Said we could do this or that and let me decide how I wanted the situation to be handled.
Honestly, I was so grateful to have found this office, esp. after the first one blew me off! The only reason I did not give five stars is that they kept me waiting for 40 minutes in the outer office before anyone even called me up to the window to do paperwork, insurance, etc.

I went to him because I had some tenderness in an old crown and he wanted to file the tooth after the one right next to it. I asked, «So what are we gonna do?» He said that it was bumping again the upper tooth. I said but the one you want to file doesn’t even hurt. We stopped and said a friendly goodbye. I consulted other top dentists in Raleigh and they all assured me that nothing needed filing or anything. I simply had a trauma from a past accident and in the winter things can get tender a little bit. I was sad ad thankful that I stood up for myself and refused to let him do any filing.
