Econo Lodge Crabtree

It’s now called the super 8 nice rooms frig and microwave good channels bet, vh1 and E etc … The staff was also friendly as well. Shopping plaza walking distance to eat, drink or whatever.

We stayed here for a weekend while attending a wedding and our experience was very well knowing this is an economy motel. I think this used to be Econo Lodge and the new owner did significant upgrade and made it Super 8. I can say significant upgrade because I can see the new stucco work, paint work, parking lot, new office and everything seemed new inside the rooms.
Since this was economy motel, I was little skeptical about people knocking on the doors at night and what not but considering this is an exterior property, we had undisturbed and pleasant experience. I prefer two pillows and I forgot to pick up mine from home so I had to request two extra pillow, they provided brand new once without any issue. The beds were new so I slept like a baby :)
I had only rented the room for one night to start because I was not sure if we would have liked staying here or if things went sour at the wedding but I didn’t get a phone call or knock on the door at 10:30 for check out (keyword I didn’t). On our way out, I told front desk to not do anything in our room and I will just pick up towels on my way back. We prefer no one enter our room while I am staying and they respected our privacy. They also had breakfast area but we were running late so I just picked up cereal bowl and some fruits for kids in the car which worked out perfectly.
The other thing I like about this property was the fact that the manager worked in the morning so if customer had any issue, they would report directly to them. Also, they kept the paper work ready by the time I was at the desk to check out so I was out in less than a minute.
I like productive /​proficient management!
