Great stop for that perfect house-warming or secret Santa gift or a personal gift. They’ve got everything from Women’s clothing(which is made in shop) to jewelry, letter pressed cards, leather wallets, beauty products(lotions, soaps, etc.) and much more. Edge of Urge is located off Person Street, next to Wine Authorities and the new Standard Foods Grocery. There are a handful of additional«gift/accessory» shops in the area, but Edge of Urge remains strong with a larger space and variety of options. Service was a miss on our visit, not that a gift shop needs 100% attentive service, but a local shop should train their staff to acknowledge and greet potential customers. Overall, a fun spot to stop and an excellent option if you’re looking for something unique(but also expect to pay a unique $$$ price for it!)

I am very excited about this new addition to Raleigh! Edge of Urge has tons of great items from cat charm bracelets, in store printed shirts, hilarious cards, and awesome unique clothes. I love the fact that tons of items are locally made in North Carolina. I purchased a one of a kind sweatshirt made in Wilmington from repurposed materials. So not only did I get to support my state and local community with this purchase, I also have something that is one of a kind – really cool! The owner is also super sweet. She said that they will soon be partnering with another local business to offer jewelry making nights. Very exciting! I love this new addition to downtown. I can’t wait to tell all my friends about how great Edge of Urge is! I definitely recommend stopping in. Oh yeah, and parking is a private lot!
