Elmcroft of Northridge

I have a close friend who lives there who has told me things that are hard to belive about the staff. Their currect rating by the State of North Carolina — is ZERO stars. This is public information and mean that NC is givng this pace the lowest rating they can.
I had an indepth conversation with the county examiner for this facility. They are cloesly montoring Elmcroft — the State of North Carolina is also. The examiner told me that there have been signifigant issues with Medtechs.
From I have learned in conversations with senior management that the parent corporation distributes manuals with rules on how to handle issues –
When you come in there is someone at the security desk — but not on evenigs and weekends.
They charge so much for TV — more than 4 times the amount my friend was charged at a prior facility that people on limited budgets have none. Now it is more than three months that the TV in the lounge has not been operational.

My best friend from college lives here. Seems everyone on staff took the holidays off so none of the patients were served their daily snacks — Merry Christmas. They have a nice menu but you can’t order from it. Everything is cold because the kitchen is in another building and the food is brought over on carts.
They are understaffed so everybody has to work extra shifts. That means they often forget to order necessary medications. By the end of the month lots of folks are coming up short. Good luck!
They lost the remote for the TV in the main room, so no more TV.
