Restaurant is closed as of today, June 13. Arrived for lunch to find that staff had just been told the restaurant was closed with no prior warning to staff or reservations.

Hands down, our new favorite restaurant in Raleigh! We dine out for dinner often(3+ times a week) and take full advantage of Restaurant Week. Our meal and service at Faire were head and shoulders above every other meal. The corn bisque, OMG! One bite is worth the visit. I also had the short rib– so flavorful, succulent and tender, not at all heavy as I had expected. The Pistachio ice box cake for dessert– light, refreshing, and the perfect end to a summer meal. Our server was so helpful and attentive, her guidance was spot on! My husband deviated from Restaurant Week menu and had a chopped salad, grilled scallops(sweet as honey) and the Toffee pudding for dessert– decadent pleasure on a plate. Cocktails rose to the challenge of meeting our phenomenal meal. Hubby had a spicy Tom Collins(a throw back cocktail but why mess with the good) and I had a strawberry jalapeño mojito. It was perfect– not too sweet, not too spicy but a great wake up on a summer evening. We will be back and often!

Have had a couple good business lunches here. Very quiet, great setting for a meeting. Food is good.

I had visited Faire in a few different occasions and always walk away completely satisfied with my meal and the service. The menu has excellent variety and I do believe something for everyone so far I love the French onion soup, salads burger, crab cakes and the shrimp cocktail. All items are presented beautifully on white dinnerware. They serve Benelux coffee which is locally roasted and delicious. I work close by and often have the opportunity to recommend Faire to visitors to Cameron Village. I never worry because I know they will not be disappointed. Make it point to stop in and grab a great meal here the next time you find yourself looking for a beautiful casual restaurant to try out in Cameron Village!

From the minute we walked in we were treated extremely well. Did not have a reservation. Manager said it shouldn’t be long. we went to the bar had barely started drinking a beer when found us and seated us in newly set up table. The Waitress was excellent, bartender the same and over all it felt like everyone went overboard to make sure we had a great dining experience. Now the Food. wow. it was excellent. I am very picky about steaks and normally am dissappointed when I order steak out since I prepare them so well myself at home. but this time I was absolutely amazed with how good it was, I ordered the ribeye and it was I think the BEST steak I have ever eaten in any restaurant. Love this place.

When I walked in, thought it may be too upscale for me. I was wrong! Very nice, bright décor. Small menu and reasonable prices. Service was very good and some great beer specials for Wednesday, too bad I couldn’t partake in that. I ordered the enchiladas montadas. Chicken was a little dry but the overall flavor was very nice. The pickled carrots and jalapeños were a nice touch. Side salad was lightly dressed which I prefer. Would check out dinner sometime!

Came to Faire on a date with my wife. Parking was a challenge. We ended up at a bank across the street. The décor is nice. It’s not too loud, though it did get louder as the place filled up. The service was good. The food was good, though it did not wow us. Bloody Mary and Spicy Collins — both good Chopped Romaine salad — strong anchovy taste Mac n Cheese — good, bubbling hot Crab Cakes — good Shrimp and Grits — okay. Given the numerous other options in the area, we will probably not be back, since this was just okay for us.

I know that restaurants sometimes have bad nights, I guess this was their time. Really poor service, disappointing because the atmosphere is actually pretty cool. Clearly the waitress didn’t pay attention to our food order so after a lengthy wait it arrived cold. We sent it back and a few minutes later it was returned with the entrée still mildly warm and fries hot(so they nuked it and gave us new fries). The manager came by to apologize and then acted somewhat surprised when we pointed out the cooking faux pas. He picked up our food, admitted failure but offered no solution. He actually seemed defeated and agreed that we should be disappointed. Now I am hungry, it is my birthday and we are are going to Wendy’s. P.s the manager was kind enough to remove the cost of the food which we appreciate however I didn’t eat so the the gesture is lost.

We waited 45 minutes for our hostess to acknowledge us. There were maybe 5 tables with two other servers. Food was ok, but the lack of attention to customers? Not ok.

Finally got a chance to check out Faire under the new(ish) Berkshire apartments at Cameron Village for lunch today. We were really happy with our choice, wish we had tried it sooner! The dinner menu is a bit pricy for our taste, especially for an average day(although everything on the dinner menu sounded amazing), so we decided to give their lunch options a shot. My dad and girlfriend both ordered the Faire Burger and I ordered the Short Rib sandwich. The short rib sandwich was the bomb(and freakin massive)! It was really tasty with the fontina cheese, and the gravy(jus) that comes with it was perfect for dipping. The burger, which I probably ate over half of my girlfriends, was also really good. My dad was claiming it was the best burger he’s had in a long time. Dunno if I would go that far, but it did surprise me. The fries and chips looked/tasted like they were made in house as well, very good. Quick tip. Get some of their house mustard on the side. It is spicy and delicious! The weather was perfect so we sat outside. They have really nice outdoor seating, which I was not aware of. Guess I wasn’t paying attention when I drove by like 6 million times. The inside is big and very swanky looking. They have a huge bar inside that looks like they throw some good drink options together. Service was great, food was great, really can’t find anything to complain about. We will definitely be back. Probably several times!

1st Course: Reuben Sliders and Pork Belly/Shrimp over biscuits 2nd Course: Butternut Squash Bisque 3rd Course: Scallops with Mushroom Flan So, my first meal above at Faire was awesome! I got to share my friend’s pork chop large plate as well. Crazy good mac & cheese too. Kevin guided us through the three courses and everyone there was very personable. Dona Pablo Malbec was $ 40 per bottle. Cannot wait for my return…

No espresso available gave it 4 stars. They had plain coffee they had to get from next door. Waitress was forgetful but very friendly so made up for it. Food was very good and the biscuits were fantastic! Worth a visit!

After a weekend at the Charleston Food + Wine festival, we came home to finish celebrating the weekend and decided to try out Faire. We were celebrating my fiancé’s birthday and were surprised to find Faire relatively calm on a Sunday afternoon. Our introduction to Faire came from our server Pryce. Pryce was able to describe the menu inside and out, even pairing menu items for an overall fantastic meal. We started with the shrimp and pork belly, which is enough to be a stand alone meal. This was fantastic, the pork belly was perfectly tender. We decided to share the ribeye steak and am so glad we did. I think we could have shared even a half and been satisfied. Pryce mentioned this was the 3rd best ribeye in the country, it’s hard to argue. It was definitely the best steak I have ever had. We finished up with the sticky toffee pudding, which in comparison to the magnitude of everything else — could use some work. After all of the food we experienced this weekend, Faire was by far the best. However, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Faire. I will certainly be a returning customer and bringing as many friends as possible. I look forward to dining with Pryce again. I have been to many more expensive restaurants and none provided the service that Pryce gave. Faire should hold tight to him. The chairs are some of the most comfortable dining chairs I have sat in, the ambience is peaceful with a calming waterfall feature. Faire has everything right going on, I look forward to having to wait to get into this restaurant — they definitely deserve the attention.

Had a great experience, great food, amazing drinks. Service was on point and very attentive. Ordered the filet and it was cooked perfectly. Emma was our waitress and she was great and knowledgeable. Beautiful atmosphere, don’t know why it’s not more crowded Will be back!

This was my first experience at Faire and I have mixed reviews. My friends and I had Sunday brunch here today. Our waitress, although very nice, was a little disheveled and it took over an hour for us to get our food. There was a mixup with the order and it didn’t actually make it to the kitchen. Despite this, the food was delicious. I ordered the crème brûlée French toast, which I highly recommend. Unfortunately we were a little rushed once the food arrived because we had tickets to Todd Sweeney at the Little Raleigh Theater. I would like to go back to Faire and give it another chance.

I had seen this place driving by several times and then noticed that their Restaurant Week menu looked awesome so decided to give it a try! We went with another couple for dinner on a Friday night and it was packed! We were seated on time(per our reservation) and the service throughout the evening was wonderful! We did order from the restaurant week menu and everything everyone got was fantastic — among our table we had the curry soup, the Faire salad, the salmon, the beef short rib, the apple tart and the chocolate dessert. Everything was fantastic! The wine selection was also quite good and provided a pretty good variety. We did have one issue with a dish and a manager took care of it immediately — they couldn’t have handled it in a better manner. Looking forward to going back!

After having just moved to Raleigh and moving into a furnished apartment in Cameron Village, we decided to try Faire for brunch. My parents were in from NY and we couldn’t have had a better experience. My wife and I have lived in many countries and cities and usually eat our way through all of our new surroundings, and Raleigh will be no different. Even though we have dined at some of the best restaurants in the world, I can honestly say that Faire is great value. Is it the best food in town? Maybe not. Is it the best ambience in town? Maybe not. Is the service world class? Yes! This restaurant deserves so much more attention than it’s getting. It is never very busy and we can’t figure it out. We enjoyed our brunch so much we went back for dinner tonight and it was even better than the brunch. The Filet Mignon melted in your mouth. The strip steak was amazing and the scallops were cooked perfectly. I won’t go too far with this, but I definitely think it’s worth a try. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food and menu is well thought out and presented and tastes very good. The ambience does feel like a bit of a hotel restaurant but you can overlook that for the menu and food. Go and enjoy.

5 of us all enjoyed our Sunday brunch. We had reservations, and at first I was slightly taken aback when we had to wait for our table, but it was explained that the table they had set up for us was being blinded by sunlight and they wanted to set up a better table for us. How considerate and much appreciated, What a gorgeous and comfortable restaurant! Service from beginning to end was very good, and very professional. When one gal got up, for instance, her area was straightened and new utensils brought. The brunch menu has a pretty nice variety. Some had trouble deciding as a result. Hadn’t had a burger in awhile, so I decided to try the Faire burger: house ground certified angus beef patty, grilled onions, american cheese, iceberg, house pickles, spicy Russian dressing, sea salt fries. This is very large! I ordered it medium and it did arrive medium-well, but I was happy with it. Wouldn’t call the Russian dressing spicy, but it was overall a very good burger and the fries very good also! Husband and Bro-In-Law got the Cheese Steak: shaved ribeye and strip, grilled onions, cheese sauce, sea salt fries. This IS huge. Tons of beef. Husband even brought some of his home, which almost never happens!(not sure how many biscuits he ate though) Sis chose the Pork Belly Tacos: Heritage Farms pork belly, onion, queso fresco, cilantro chimichurri, roasted corn & cactus pico, jalapeño. Personally don’t know how folks can do fatty pork belly, but she liked it just fine. Ended up sharing it with the Cheese Steak. They liked them both. Our friend tried The Seattle Crepes: smoked salmon, caper, red onion, dill yogurt. This came with a cup full of fresh fruit and potatoes as well. She thought it was terrific and filling. Took one of the crepes home, as a result. They started us off with complimentary Sweet Potato and Scallion Biscuits with whipped butter and strawberry jam. The jam, while good, didn’t really go with the biscuits, imho, but the butter sure did. All of us were happy with our meals. Except for the crepes, the rest of our dishes did need salt and pepper. It wasn’t on the table, so we asked for it, and our wish was granted right away. None of us are the type to add salt to a restaurant dish, but we all agreed it was what our dishes needed. In addition to our Excellent Server Gal, a Manager checked on us as well. As for prices… they might be expensive for dinner, but for brunch, not bad at all. My big burger and plentiful fries were $ 11 and Husband’s giant Cheese Steak and fries $ 13. All of us agreed that we will be happy to return!

Drove by here several times, but never went inside until today for brunch. The ambience felt just like a hotel restaurant. It was very clean — probably one of the cleanest restaurants in Raleigh — but the décor felt kind of generic, detracting from any feeling of intimacy. This was even worse given how big the tables and chairs are. I would be more likely to meet with a lawyer here than to have a romantic dinner. The service was highly attentive. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic, super attentive and quick without ever being intrusive. After having the opening sweet potato and chive biscuit that was delicious but felt cheaply rationed out, I had the crab cakes benedict, and my boyfriend had the crème brûlée french toast with a side of cheese grits, which were absolutely to-die for. The food was good. That all having been said, this is not the place to go if you have a vegetarian in your party or anyone who can’t eat red meat(or really any dietary restrictions), or else you’ll pretty much be stuck with just the salad option.
