Flight Pop-up Shop

New Raleigh, Visual Art Exchange and Deco had a baby [Edge of Urge is mixed in there too] and not only is the shop hip, with items you won’t find anywhere else in Raleigh, but it’s also a fabulous concept! This shop is a collaborative space that has popped up from nothing, taking over a location on E. Martin, right in the bustle and hustle of downtown. FLIGHT is a project developed by locals to help locals, fueling grants and propelled by private donations. This project shop is filled with all fun items and currently open until the end of December [Mon-​Sat, 11am — 7pm; Sun, 11am — 5pm]. But the idea stemming from this project is to start something BIG, and truly Raleigh impacting.
And beyond the good that FLIGHT is creating, it’s also a great place to pick up a hippie house warming gift, white elephant present or a little treat yourself happiness. Everything from colorful socks, handmade jewelry, letter pressed cards and don’t forget the make your own jewelry kit, hipster toothbrushes, ethnic cookbooks or paper airplane tattoo [FLIGHT logo]. Grant applications [from the money FLIGHT brings in – 10% of all sales and 100% of donations] open in January 2016 and projects funded will be featured on the FLIGHT site.
