This restaurant is amazing! Totally gluten-free but with fabulously tasting food. I have had several entrées and lunch items and all were excellent. I have celiac’s and have never had any issue. They also can do dairy free, vegan and nut free. It’s my new GoTo restaurant!

Fresh everything. Kind of a bad name and bc of that it doesn’t seem to get a lot of business. The food though is better than the name. Also it’s completely gluten-free!

Great tasting food, interesting beverages, nice environment & service was good too! I love the allergy awareness, fluoride free water & that I can eat without concern of cross contamination! Highly recommend!

Fresh Lavant has it all; excellent food, personal attention to dietary changes, top notch service. I wish I could eat here every day. You can take out some amazing gf desserts too; the cinnamon rolls are exceptional.

I recently ordered a halloumi flatbread and salad to go and both were delicious! The price was reasonable for the serving size, too. I’ll definitely be back soon.

Two of my best friends have Celiac disease and we’re always looking for new places to take them out. Happened to see this place on our way to dinner at Driftwood a few doors down and planned to bring friends for brunch. After seeing all the great reviews, we had high expectations and were mostly disappointed. Some good ideas for dishes, but execution wasn’t great, prices were pretty high for what you get and our waitress was pretty horrible.(Nice, but super slow and absent-minded.) We ordered a variety of dishes and thought most of the components were tasty. A lot of the dishes weren’t assembled and seemed to be more for show — one of the egg dishes had all the ingredients separate on the plate and the avocado with shwarma meat was a huge mess. Seemed like a lot of the concepts weren’t thought all the way through. The worst dish was the grapefruit with bruleed bananas. The grapefruit wasn’t cut and there were just three tiny banana slices on it. We brought up that it wasn’t cut and the waitress laughed… she seemed to not understand that grapefruit has to be cut to eat it. The owner/manager was very nice and the waitress was too… but the service was extremely slow and the server was very absent-minded. She told us you get free coffee with breakfast entrees AFTER we were done eating. Never offered it when we ordered. It took us more than 30 minutes to get our check and it was wrong THREETIMES. We ended up just settling things between us instead of getting it fixed for the fourth time. Also, the prices were pretty high. Our brunch ended up costing almost $ 40. I was sad that we didn’t have a better experience. I think this place has potential, but we won’t be back. Too many other good options in Lafayette Village and North Raleigh.

The experience and what you receive at this new restaurant is profound. The owner is so conscience of not only the taste of the recipes, but the concept of eating healthy with taste! She is starting a movement that is needed to raise consciousness, to stimulate enlightenment, and to help us liberate ourselves by becoming aware of what our food is really made of and how much it affects our long-term health. This awareness supports, inspires and promotes true wellness. Plus, everything is delicious and well worth the price.

The burger was AWESOME. And a generous side salad that wasn’t just your typical afterthought(it had pomegranate seeds after all!). Here’s why only 3 stars: $ 12 for an average main order salad with no protein. How much to add chicken? $ 7! So to get a decent salad you are talking approximately $ 20. I take issue with this because I am a proponent of eating healthy and more importantly giving healthy options to people at affordable prices. People won’t change their ways and move away from cheaper, faster food if they have to pay this much. Happy and Hale downtown has better salads with protein for a much more reasonable price. Not to mention these prices also drive away people like myself who would go here a lot more(and give them more money in the long run). A larger profit margin on a few orders of a menu item might not play out as well in the long run as if there was a smaller profit margin on the menu item but with a much larger volume of orders. Just my $.02

This place is amazing! It’s rare to find a restaurant that does so many things well these days and Fresh Levant is definitely one of those special restaurants. Delicious food, amazing coffee, beautiful décor, warm and friendly staff, organic wine and a wide selection– they’ve got it all. The food is so fresh and carefully thought out… it’s evident in the presentation and flavors. I’m a big fan!

I went there this morning for breakfast when I stopped at Jubala for coffee. I’m sorry to say that I wasn’t able to picture the delicious baked pastry this time. after I watched them drizzle Apple cider glaze on my hot gluten free cinnamon roll I was in gf nirvana. Will be a regular here until further notice. Come here!

It’s very refreshing to find a non-GMO restaurant. The menu is Lebanese, which is one of my favorite cuisines. We tried the dip sampler, and it’s very good. There’s a pomegranate walnut dip that is delish. Also like the almond lebneh. I got the eggplant and goat cheese sandwich. It’s served on good crusty bread. The lentil soup is very good. The grilled haloumi is delicious too. I was a little disappointed with my side salad of fattoush because it was more like regular salad and not like fattoush. But all in all, the food is very good.

Wow. They told me they are only gluten free bake-shop in Raleigh and they turn out to be fabulous. I can’t comment on the food menu, only on the outstanding pastries — light, excellent open texture, well flavored and satisfying, and good enough to go head to head with regular wheat cakes and muffins. If you have gluten-wheat allergies, I suspect you will be coming back often. Indy, please review them. Let’s keep them around.

What a creative Mediteranean bistro. Excellent all around restaurant, I wouldn’t be surprised if they open other branches soon. Great idea and great quality food.

This is for anyone who loves tasty organic/non-gmo, gluten free, soy free food with vegan, vegetarian and dairy free options. Oh and did I mention there is dessert, bread, organic beverages and turkish coffee! It’s the first of it’s kind in our area and thank you Anita for bringing it to us. For a person with multiple food allergies, this restaurant is a royal treat. Here I don’t have to study the menu with vigilance and I don’t wear out my server with a million questions about ingredients, adjusting my order only to end up home with some side effect from an ingredient the restaurant didn’t know was in the food. I suspect you know what I am talking about if you have allergies too. Instead, I can order straight from the menu and trust the quality that I am being served. So, I recently had dinner here. I ordered the dairy free labneh and it came with pita bread. My friend kept staring at me as I was packing it away. It was so amazing to have this soft tasty bread :) and the labneh tasted like the real thing without the dairy! No I wasn’t paid or prompted by anyone to write this. I’m just glad to have this great restaurant nearby and wanted to urge you to give it a try. Cheers to good health!

Was there a pre-opening birthday party for my friend. Amazing, exquisite food, fresh, organic, local, cozy, unique, gluten free, vegan, and yum yum yummy. Absolutely Delightful. Opens to public Oct. 27, 2015. Go there before everyone else finds out about this little Lebanese-inspired gem!
