Heirloom Collective

The Heirloom team is INCREDIBLE! Kerry has a great eye and style all her own that we fell in love with as soon as we saw her site. We live in LA and got married in New Orleans and we looked at SO many photographers before stumbling upon Kerry. We had a small wedding at a house and we tried to keep our budget low, but photos and food were the two places we splurged; and Kerry was worth every penny! I honestly can’t say enough great things about her and her team, but here’s a start.. . she made the whole process very easy which I appreciated since we were planning from LA, her prices are very reasonable, we liked the option of getting a USB of all the photos rather than having to buy certain ones after the fact, and her photos are GORGEOUS. Oh if you’re like us, we don’t enjoy being in front of a camera, but she’s so easy going and sweet that she made the whole thing super easy. Bottom line, if you need a photographer, Kerry and Heirloom should be your first choice.

I reached out to Kerry as I planned a trip to New Orleans, one of the places I love to visit most in the world. I hoped this trip would be the best yet as I planned a surprise proposal to my now-​fiancé (spoiler alert: yes, she said yes!) under the grand live oaks in New Orleans. I hoped Kerry would help us capture the special afternoon with a few of her photographs.
Simply, Kerry was a star. In the planning process, she was supportive and patient counsel, always thoughtfully contributing but letting me make the final choices. On the big day, she was not only a complete professional but also felt like an invested friend who we’d known for years. For example, she brought along her friend and dog as «decoys» to photograph as we walked by, and took a final photograph of us as we walked away, long after we (thought we) parted ways.
In days, she sent a few that she loved as a taste of what was to come, and before we got back home to California, she delivered 150+ stunning photos to us. We’ve since relived that special day with family and friends.
My fiancé and I can’t recommend Kerry highly enough. We’re still in the afterglow of the engagement, but we’re eager to reach out to her once the wedding planning starts in earnest, as she’s got an eye – and the heart – for capturing the spirit of what’s in front of her camera. You’re tops, Kerry!

Kerry Maloney is a talented photographer with a keen eye! She took some engagement photos for us which we couldn’t be more pleased with. She also edited them for us so we have all of our photos in either black and white or color. We are so completely pleased with how our engagement photos looked that we’ll be hiring her for our wedding pictures in a year. Kerry has a knack for capturing the moment and placed us in some traditional New Orleans spots for some amazing picture opportunities! Kerry does not disappoint!
