Took my dad in to establish care with Dr. Guzzo at the Apex office. A pleasant experience overall. Small staff at Apex, since it’s an annex office. Apparently there’s a doc there only twice a week. It was just the doctor and his nurse when we went. Wait time was nil since my dad was the only pt scheduled at that time block. Dr. Guzzo was an easy-​going, but no-​nonsense kind of guy, personable, and easy to talk to. He took the time to explain things and answer all our questions. Did not make us feel rushed, as a lot of doctors unfortunately are guilty of. His nurse was also nice, reviewing Dr. Guzzo’s treatment plan for us before we left. Can’t say we have enough experience with Dr. Guzzo to see how good he really is when stuff hits the fan, but we are satisfied so far. We’ll see how it goes after a few tests and follow-​ups.
