I can’t give that place more than one star. the food is most of the time cold. very few varieties of food. and bad customer service.

Never Again! The chicken taste like dish water. The seafood looked liked it was left over from the day before. This reminds me of the old Gomer Pyle episode were Gomer goes in a restaurant that was a front for a gambling operation. In the episode the employees never intended for anyone to actually buy chinese food from the restaurant. In this case there is no way the employees here intended anyone to eat food from this restaurant. You gotta be kidding me. There’s got to be a crap table in the back to go with the crap food in the front.

What happened to this place? I admit I haven’t been here in a few years, but it used to be somewhere in the«good» range. We visited last week, and the food was inedible. Every thing we tried tasted like it was cooked in the same trough of salty, slippery, fatty, fishy, toilet water. Never again.

I have been to this place twice now. At the first time, I thought the food pretty gross and wondered if they were serving leftovers from earlier in the week. They served oysters on the half shell and I gave those a WIDE berth given the general less-than-fresh appearance of the rest of the food. That very night, I had a kidney stone attack that I was wondering if I had gotten food poisoning from this place. I vowed never to return to this restaurant… So on my second visit to this place, the freshest food in the place was the Pepsi I ordered. The fried rice was the same recipe they used during the Bataan Death March and again I avoided anything that remotely looked like seafood. The décor is delightfully tacky and pretty much as stereotypical of a Chinese buffet restaurant as you can get. The pictures of the floating restaurant in Hong Kong harbor made me reminisce about the time I spent in Hong Kong, but that is probably the best thing I can say about this restaurant. All in all, you are MUCHMUCHMUCH better off going a mile or two up Capitol Ave and going to the Hibachi buffet there.

This place was truly awful. They had like 180 things and 150 of them were bad.

Bad food even by generic Chinese buffet standards. Nothing jumbo about it. Everything tastes like its 2 days old. I came at 1:30pm, when its expected the food is hot and tastes fresh. Sorely disappointed.

We are visiting Raleigh, NC this week and found the Jumbo China Buffet across the street from our hotel so we did a little research online and found a negative review on this site… my little girl loves Chinese food and was begging to go so I went down and spoke with the lady at the front desk of our hotel who told me that she had heard a lot of good reviews from her guests so we decided to try it despite the bad review online. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was good with only a couple of exceptions. For the most part the food was fresh and very good. I loved the spring rolls and their General Tso’s chicken was some of the best I’ve had. We didn’t really care for their fried rice or the chicken on a stick but otherwise it was a great meal and we will most likely visit this restaurant again before the end of our stay.

I just returned from what was absolutely, without a doubt, the WORST Chinese buffet I have ever been to in my life. The sesame chicken and General’s chicken sauces were thin & watery(and too sweet even for a sweet sauce). My wife had the snow crab legs with the buffet, which she said were soggy and weren’t fresh. In fact, very little on the buffet was fresh. All of the meats and fishes on the buffet were very overcooked. The pork dumplings were hard and rubbery. The beef in the beef & broccoli was so rubbery I finally had to stop chewing and, as politely as I could, spit it into a napkin. The hot & sour soup was not worth the one sip I took.(Only one other time have I had hot & sour soup too bad to not be worth eating.) I finally ate some boiled shrimp from the cold bar with their over-ketchupy cocktail sauce. Since they hadn’t actually tried to season the shrimp, it wasn’t as bad as everything else on the buffet. I will never go back and I recommend no one else go there either.
