This K&W is extremely good. It’s off the beaten path but is well worth the extra drive for it. The macaroni and cheese is absolutely perfect. It’s one of the best places to eat in Raleigh. The facility is really clean but the restrooms need to updated but still really clean. Make sure you stop in to eat.

I used to eat at the one in Cameron Village all the time with my great grandma and it was just as good as I remember! I got my childhood favs. chicken fingers –weren’t super fresh but they were still good but I was disappointed they didn’t have their homemade bbq sauce! Mac n cheese was great and exactly as I remember, turnip greens were delicious and seasoned very well, 7 layer salad was delicious and you could tell the bacon was freshly cooked, and finally the chocolate cream pie was as delicious as I remember! I definitely had some leftover and for $ 10 you can’t beat it! I got this all to go and the girl who helped me/made my tray was very professional and friendly! I’d definitely go again!

I have eaten here for several years. If I’m ever in the area and my mom is with me, her choice is always K & S. All of the meats and veggies are seasoned well. I appreciate all of the choices of meat and non meat dishes. If you’re a vegetarian or vegan be sure to ask if any of the veggies are cooked w/meat. The salads always look good. Most of staff in the serving line are friendly and eager to help you make your food choices. If you’re willing to treat yourself for dessert, I recommend the coconut pie. It’s really good. The meals are inexpensive and filling.

Yesterday, my bestie and I wanted a quick lunch, so we decided to stop here. Word to the wise: run and run fast in the other direction. I have never had such a terrible meal. The food is NOT fresh. The service is terrible and we ended up leaving with our meals barely touched. The only thing that was edible on the entire plate was the cucumber salad and even those were not ripe. VERY disappointing.
