Launching Pad Trampoline Park

Their website says it’s for all ages but that’s a half-​truth at best. The treatment of toddlers at this facility is extremely lacking:
1. You must pay full price even though the majority of the park isn’t suitable or useable by toddlers.
2. Was told my toddler must watch the safety video. She’s TWO. She isn’t able to understand the safety video. I don’t have a problem watching it myself but it lacks common sense to think she would watch it.
3. The toddler/​small child area has only a basic trampoline floor, unlike a place such as Defy Gravity that has multiple play areas within the small/​child area. To rub salt in the wound of my toddler, the foam pit was in full view of the toddler area of which she wasn’t able to play in.
4. The jump socks you’re required to wear don’t fit toddlers.
5. They are very strict on having more than 1 person on a square. With older kids I can see the issue, but I was try to hold my toddlers hands so she could jump and was scolded for it. Not much logic in play here.
6. We had to take her off the jump floor because she was upset. She wanted to play in the foam pit that was right in front of the toddler zone. We took her to the arcade to play a game… not a single game was oriented toward her age group. Not even a dinky toddler ride you’d find in the mall.
The only reason I’m giving it a two-​star is because my 8 year old had fun. My 12 year old got bored fast (as they don’t have varied kinds of activities like Defy Gravity).

I took my children here after our Saturday errands and they had a BALL!!!
My youngest from my oldest enjoyed every moment.
Reasonably priced, enough parking and really good staff.
Only thing that needs to be added is a food court, the snacks aren’t enough after children are finished jumping all over the place.

Probably the cleanest facility I have taken my kids to. They assisted my little one throughout the entire hour session and made sure the bigger kids allowed him to jump. We bought 4 more tickets to jump this month.

Launching pad is not my favorite. I think the rule system is a bit much. They make you watch a video and then they summarize it again. I don’t think that kids should have to waste there paid jump time to listen to someone tell you rules a bagillion times. Also they need to separate younger kids from older kids. Younger kids just don’t understand the rules in the pit and they get in the way to much. My visits to launching pad have been rather unpleasant recently.

Came here for the first time with my 5 year old today. We had a Groupon so we couldn’t reserve a spot but we were able to get in with no problem. We played in the arcade section a little before our jump time started and my son has been loving both the games and the jumping. All the kids here seem to be enjoying themselves. The staff are nice– they are present but don’t restrict the kids too much so they can’t have fun but also maintain a safe experience. A good balance. We will definitely be back. The groupon was for 2 hrs of jumping which I think is a little much for my 5 yr old but he’s refusing to give in before they call his time so it’s clearly a hit. And he’ll be nice and worn out for me when we go home. Win-​win!

Fun for both kids and adults. I don’t know who had more fun my three yr old or my husband. There is several different trampoline areas and even a toddler area with smaller trampolines. My daughter also really loved the foam pit. For younger children I’d say 30 mins is perfect. She wanted to stay longer but she was getting to tired and hot. I will be taking her again with some friends. We live 1.5 from it and will be going back.

If you are under the age of 8 this is the place to come, if you are any older I would recommend going to a different trampoline park. Launching Pad has twice as many rules as neighboring parks… Defy Gravity in Durham is much much better. When you enter the trampoline area you are constantly being watched by three different employees. it feels more like a prison than a place to jump around and enjoy yourself. My friend and I signed up for an hour jump session and half way through realized this was not the place for us so we tried to get half our money back from the front desk only to be rudely turned away by one of the unfriendly staff members. I will not be returning to this trampoline park again.

Great place to bring the kids or have some fun as adults! Very, very clean and well maintained. They have a snack bar and prizes for tickets won in their video game arcade. My son especially loved the basketball trampoline area. Unlike other places we have been they have multiple basketball goals so that’s great! Two dodgeball areas and a foam pit are fun too! I was surprised to find that they also have a toddler jump area where your child must be under 48″ to jump, that way the little ones don’t get run over :) Staff seemed very nice and there were plenty of people working on the trampolines to ensure rules were followed. We will definitely be coming back to Launching Pad.

Looking for something fun to do on a Thursday afternoon, I headed here with two kids, ages 5 and 8. They loved it, and it wasn’t crowded at all! We did the 30 minutes of jump time — they have lots of different trampoline areas– one with trampolines on the walls, the foam pit, the basketball court, a dodgeball area and a trampoline area for the smaller kids. The 8 year old loved dunking at the basketball area, and both of the kids loved the foam pit.
They also have some sort of an XD theater, lots of arcade games and a snack bar. It was pretty reasonably priced, note that there is an extra cost for socks (you can only use their socks).
The only thing I did not love about the place is that I was not aware they have certain times you can start jumping, on the hour or the half hour. We were there 5 minutes after the hour, so we either had the choice of them sitting and waiting 25 minutes to jump (not an ideal option for two active kids), or losing 5 minutes of our paid jumping time. I understand why they do this, so they can monitor the paid time for jumping, but I don’t love that you have to get here at a specific time so you don’t end up waiting around.

My wife and I took our young child here. Once we checked in and paid we were not allowed to help our 16 month old on the trampoline. For older kids it looks fun but the staff was quite rude to us. The arcade was mostly scams to get the children to get tickets for prizes.
We have since gone to defy gravity and the staff was much nicer. There is a ninja warrior course and trampolines into foam pits. It is also half the price and you don’t have to buy their socks. For our family we won’t be going back.

Great place — Totally new and totally clean!!! Not too busy either!!! Boys love it and it’s great they have a snack bar!

We loved this facility, nice and bright! We loved that at 3 pm on a Saturday it did not feel cramped at all, My kids loved the dodge ball and basketball. I wish the toddler section had a few balls they could play with as well. The prices were not bad. We will be back soon!

I visited The Launching Pad the first weekend they opened and was impressed with everything they have to offer kids… and adults too. In addition to the trampolines, you and your family can spend time in the arcade and win top-​notch prizes, explore the depths of the ocean in the XD Theater, compete against your friends in Laser Frenzy, and dunk a basketball on a regulation-​sized hoop (with the help of a trampoline). The Launching Pad is also the perfect place for my daughter’s birthday party coming up soon.
