Wow I had a chocolate croissant, delicious and not too sweet and an americano coffee made with Larrys Beans the very best cup of coffee ever highly recommend and I will definitely return

Oh! yea they have some pretty looking desserts and those were tasty too. I will have to visit this place few more times to try out the selection.

Lucettegrace is the best! Run don’t walk here if you’re in Raleigh. There is nothing I’ve found in the area to even come close to being as wonderful as this place for heavenly desserts. The décor is light and clean and inviting and the pastries are displayed like works of art in glass cases making it nearly impossible to decide what to get. We couldn’t decide so we ended up buying one of nearly everything in the shop! It was all fantastic however I will say, it’s probably better to go back a few times rather than take things home, depending on the heat they might not hold up that well(but will still be divine, even if a bit messy.) I only wish they were located a bit closer to home but my waistline doesn’t mind. We will be back that’s for sure.

Lucettegrace is a neat little pastry shop in downtown Raleigh. I came with some friends on a Friday night right before they closed. We tried the Videri Chocolate Cream Pie and Candy Bar Cake. I liked the Candy Bar Cake more, because I felt like the Chocolate Cream Pie was a bit heavy for my liking. The Candy Bar Cake was an almond cake base with milk chocolate praline and a dark chocolate hazelnut mousse plus a hazelnut on top. I thought all the flavors complemented each other really well, and it wasn’t overly sweet or overly heavy. The Chocolate Cream Pie tasted super dark chocolatey, and also had some cocoa nib mixed in, which gave it a deep flavor. The custard was just too heavy for me to take more than one bite. The gold flakes on top were a nice little touch, though. The place is clean and well-kept, and seems like a cool place to hang out with friends or do work. I’ll be sure to swing by again the next time I’m in downtown Raleigh.

I love this place, if parking wasn’t so poor around it I’d make it a regular go-to. But I’m sure there’s a reason that everything’s got a 1 hour limit. Didn’t have any problems with my service dog here, though one dude assumed I was getting everything to-go because I had him with me(even though I asked for one of my items to be eaten there, I like to get stuff for home the next day) I love the visual design of the place, the yellow is super impacting and when I first saw it it really brightened my mood. I really appreciate proper design thought going into a place! They have a very sweet chai latte, I’m more into the spicy ones but it wasn’t that bad despite it! The vietnamese iced tea is even better though. The croissants are great, salted ones a lot better. It’s an odd flavor, I’m used to just them being plain, but it’s not a bad one! I’m not a fruit tart person generally, but WOW they make this orange crème themed tart and it’s made of heaven. I don’t know if it’s seasonal or if they have a rotation of flavors they do, but I’m getting like 3 next time I’m there(though there had only been the one left last time…) I’ve had other stuff but I cannot remember the names so I’m just gonna leave it alone for now, it was all A+ though. One bad thing, only one. The coffee cake was poor at best, no flavor and a weird texture. I had assumed the bread-loaf shape was just them doing the whole ‘super fancy’ thing that’s applied to everything else, but I guess it should have been a sign to avoid it.

My absolute go-to for special occasion desserts, or just when you need a good«me time» treat. I love the eclairs, all versions, and the macarons… c’mon. They’re stupid good. I also love going for lunch and the pimento grilled cheese. Staff is friendly and very helpful in making recommendations when you’re faced with a few dozen incredible looking things.

It’s more than pastries, but to be honest, I always go for a dessert(which are good morning, noon and night!) Lucettegrace is a downtown Raleigh must visit: iced coffee and a pastry(maybe a macaroon ice cream sandwich on a hot day!). Choose tall window or bar seating, their large, high-topped community table or one of there cozy small topped, two to four-seater tables. Colors here are brown, yellow gray {not to be confused with black and yellow!} It will be hard to choose from the plethora of fancy pastries and note that if you come later in the afternoon, they’ll usually mark-down their breakfast sandwiches/pastries. Everything I’ve tried has been superb and the employees have great recommendations! Your eyes will be dancing and your tastebuds will be tickled with delight after a much needed stop to Lucettegrace!

Saying that we had a Grilled Cheese($ 8), tuna salad($ 8.50), and ice cream sandwich here does not do this place justice. The grilled cheese also had bacon and onion jam in it and it was delicious. The French tuna salad was made with a piece of tuna(no canned tuna here) mixed with tarragon aioli and spinach. Both sandwiches came with a small salad of greens. If you want a huge lunch, this probably isn’t your spot. However, if you want lunch that will leave room for their delicious Raspberry Pistachio Macaron ice cream sandwich, then this is your place. The macaron ice cream sandwich was one raspberry macaron and one pistachio macaron with raspberry jam and ice cream in between. The other desserts in the pastry case were beautiful and, I’m sure, delicious. The Brood Soda Wolf flavor was very good and different.

My husband treated me for my birthday and it was sooooo good! We dropped by on a Saturday morning and split a Dixie Canonball, Larry Meets Escazu pastry, and Tiramasu with 2 mugs of hot coffee. My favorite pastry was the Tiramasu, as it was so creamy and rich. The Dixie Canonball was fluffy and moist — and the gravy filling was extremely savory. It was so hard not to keep ordering all of the items, as everything tasted stupendous. Thankfully, my hubby got me a box of macarons to-go, which were all melt-in-yo-mouth delicious!

Short Review: uppity dessert and coffee place that is way to expensive for the desserts they serve. I had a salted caramel macaroon and it was about $ 3. Honestly, in Charlotte, Amelie’s serves a salted caramel brownie that is just as good, double the size and fifty cents cheaper. There was also not much of a selection.

What beautiful little desserts! My husband and I tried the peanut butter mousse pastry and the passion fruit tart and both were unbelievably delicious. I loved the flakiness of the PB pastry and thought the PB wasn’t overbearing. The passion fruit tart was my favorite. The meringue, raspberry, and cake were so delicious together. My husband was chatting with the workers and learned that the pastry chef used to work at the Umstead Hotel in Cary(5*).

Had ordered some sweet pastries to surprise my sweet Valentine :) And this time around, I had a much much better experience. I ordered almost all of their Valentine’s Day special pastries and both of us weren’t disappointed. Bottom line: Better experience than first time. I will be back.

I came to lucettegrace when visiting the area after my friend raved about it. It completely lived up to the hype! My friends and I ordered macarons, an éclair, and some tea to go along with it. The macarons were some of the best I’ve ever had! They had more contemporary flavors, like birthday cake and lemon olive oil, and also the classics, like salted caramel and pistachio rose. I was so impressed that I even took a box of macarons back home with me! The éclair was delicious as well; decadent but not too rich. It had a perfect balance. The workers behind the counter were friendly and gave honest recommendations when we asked, which was very helpful! Overall, a great experience. I wish I lived closer to Raleigh so I come visit more often!

Oh. My. God. I wish I could fly their desserts into Dallas for my glutinous pleasure! How do you really rave about tiramisu? Well, you can when you have tried the one here: spongy, «ladyfinger» wrapped around a firm, mascarpone center, topped with chocolate. The texture is unmatched-unlike the typical, soggy tiramisus served elsewhere. Also tried something that tastes like a Ferrero Rocher candy on steroids! Fantastic! I did like the longer dark chocolate covered coffee flavored one shown below, but it wasn’t my favorite of all. I probably would have loved it more if I didn’t have the other two to compare it to. Needless to say, I will be Ubering over here before going to the airport!

Great ambience — very modern, chic, and bright. Loved the counter seating by the windows. I tried two macarons(both of which looked beautiful); one was a sea salt caramel flavor and the other was vanilla chestnut. The first was oddly stale; I had difficultly biting through the crème in the center. The second was your typically delicious macaron. I also had a chai latte, which I found way too sweet for my tastes but very smooth. This place is a great café to work, as there is free WiFi and plenty of outlets.

I should really come and work here — or perhaps I shouldn’t, as that is how a new bad habit would be born — but I somehow instead always end up arriving on a lazy Saturday morning after a long walk downtown. There’s something so whimsical about Lucettegrace that makes it the perfect date and/or daydreaming spot. The coffee here is good, but I recommend the hot chocolate with a shot of espresso, which smells magical every time you lean in for another sip. It is everything you have ever loved about chocolate and sweets, in liquid form. Lucettegrace does sweets well, but to go along with the whimsical theme, get one of their breakfast pastries: we had the bacon croissant(which tasted like a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast in pastry form), but they also had a pimento cheese danish that we were eyeing.

One of the cutest café/bakery I’ve been to! It’s in a great location and it’s nice inside. They serve breakfast and lunch items, and also a wide range of pastries and desserts! I’ve only been here twice and both times I’ve had a pretty good experience. I’ve tried their carrot cake and Tiramisu and both were so tasteful and amazing! I’ve also tried their Iced Chai Tea which I fell in love with as soon as I got it. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and it was very refreshing. Service is great and the workers are nice. There’s plentiful of sitting room so it’s also a great place to study :) Definitely check it out!

We went here for macarons and that’s what we got 13 to be exact. 13 of some of the best macarons we’ve had. See, we find it necessary to look everywhere we go for a great macaron. We found them here in Raleigh and for the macarons alone they get 5 stars, throw in their friendly service, the scone my girlfriend enjoyed, and the fact that they do lunch and stuff too? Yeah, an easy 5 star rating. The macarons are everything they should be, everything you didn’t even dream they could be, truly some of our favorites from many states/countries. I’ll go into detail with each flavor:

Summed up, delicious. On this most recent visit I purchased a Rustic Apple Tart for Mom and a Larry Meets Escazu and macaron for myself. The Larry Meets Escazu was amazing, I highly recommend. The prices are a bit steep but it is worth it, I will be back next time that I am around the area and craving a sweet treat.

I had been wanting to try this place because it had been getting some good press lately. I was in town for hopscotch, and this place was pretty close to city plaza and kings, where I was headed to see some shoegazey bands play. Bonus: the sandwich board out front promised a free drink with the purchase of a pastry or lunch to anyone sporting a hopscotch wristband. You had a choice between drip coffee or aguafresca, which is basically fruity water. I forget everything they flavored their water with. I think it was five different fruits? Orange, lime, lemon, maybe mango? I can’t remember, but you could taste the fruit and it was very refreshing on a warm late summer evening. The one pastry that was really calling my name was the salted caramel brownie 2.0. I love sweet and salty desserts more than anything. It looked very elegant because this is a patisserie, mind you, not merely a bakery. The brownie was piped with gooey salted(but not too salty) caramel and topped with a delightfully thin piece of chocolate they say served as a nice contrast to the softer textures of the caramel brownie. I’ve had some salted caramel desserts that disappoint because they over salt it, but they really got the balance right here. Now let me tell you why I’ll be back. They make a cereal. I guess it’s kind of granola like because it has oats rolled in maple, if memory serves, but it also has nice chocolate chunks, huge dried raspberries, and the most amazing part– mini macarons! There’s no buttercream, obviously, because then it wouldn’t be shelf stable at all. I once bought some macarons at ladurée on Lincoln road on Miami beach and then spent some time trying on clothes at h&m and listen, the lines to try on clothes there or check out are comparable to those at the hottest clubs in Miami. Or maybe Disney world. They were a melty mess by the time I got back to my car and forget about the long drive back home to my parents house in south Miami which is actually not that close to Miami beach. But we’re reviewing Lucettegrace here, certainly not Miami fast fashion shops or Parisian macaron franchises. I haven’t had a whole macaron from them, but I wouldn’t say no to trying one next time I’m in town for a show at Kings. I’ll get there early, I don’t care if the show doesn’t start until 9. I can read a book. I just need to stock up on that cereal, because sprinkle some on your yogurt(or mix it in) and you’re in heaven! I like it with noosa blueberry yogurt. It’s just really indulgent. Mini macarons in a cereal? Who thinks of that. Thank you for existing. I love it and need more in my life and please consider setting up a distribution deal so I can buy them at a southern season in chapel hill, or better yet that LoMo market mobile farmer’s market truck. They park outside my gym, so let’s eat back all the calories I just burned in spinning class. Oh btw, the staff are super friendly too. And attractive. Hello, bearded guy. I’m not mad at your face. And I need to get a significant other soon if it means I will stop talking about attractive workers in my reviews because this is honestly getting creepy and a little sad, but I have a second date coming up with a dude I met on tinder soon so wish me luck y’all.
