The worst service ever. I would give them a negative 5 if I could. I had MaidPro do an initial cleaning on my home because I have guests coming into town this weekend. I come home fully expecting my entire house to be clean only to find that only half of my master bathroom had been cleaned and that they missed the other bathroom completely. I immediately complained and sent pictures of what they hadn’t cleaned to the manager. She acted as if she was doing me a favor by sending the ladies back the next day to finish the job free of charge. So the next day they come again, they finish cleaning the master but lo and behold they once again did not touch the hall bathroom at all. UNBELIEVABLE! If you’re trying to make things right, how do you completely drop the ball a second time? It has to be intentional. No more chances. I demanded my key back immediately and the manager was unapologetic. I now have to find the time to break my back scrubbing a bathroom for guests that will be here the day after tomorrow. The sad part is I told them upfront why I needed my home cleaned(guests) and that I was interested in establishing biweekly service with their company, how do you value your customers so little that you don’t even try to put your best foot forward with a potentially recurring customer from the very beginning? Is this a hobby or a business? If you like wasting money on half-cleaned houses, hire MaidPro, if you want your house cleaned consistently well every time, spend a little more and hire a service with a more trustworthy reputation.

If I could give«0» stars, that’s what they would have. This was by far the most horrible, stressful experience I have ever had with a cleaning service. First, it took over 3 weeks to even get someone to respond to my numerous emails and phone calls. I was sent a very rude email from their staff as a reply to me asking when they were coming! I felt like I was stuck with them since I had bought a living social deal and they would not refund my money. Not happy with Living Social either right now. So finally one lady comes to clean. She was suppose to be at my house for 3 hours and she was there just a little over 2. I had to make arrangements for my two dogs to go to daycare and for my daughter to come to my house and let the lady in to clean. She did not clean the mirrors in the bathroom, windowsills and furniture still had dust on them, glass front door was not touched at all and my daughter said she didn’t even go into the kitchen! Theres so much more I could say but i guess the fact that I will NEVER use them and plan to let everyone know about their poor service, that will be enough said!

So far so good. After our last cleaning lady disappeared into thin air we were looking for a reliable yet somewhat reasonable service to clean our house. MaidPro seemed to fit the bill and since the bad reviews all seemed to be about something specific we decided to give it a try. Our lady showed up almost on time and did a really good job. Actually much better than our previous cleaner. So nothing to complain there. Now the people running the back office however — that’s a different story. You leave a message — no call back. You finally get someone, they don’t know what to do(e.g. process a Unilocal Coupon). They promise to call back. You guessed it: nada. But all in all a decent service since it’s really the cleaning that counts.

I have HORRIBLE allergies and cleaning days at our house used to consist of me taking my allergy meds, cleaning with hubs, then having to leave for the rest of the day because ruffling up the air with the dusting, vacuuming, etc. literally sent me into an asthma attack. After going through the rotation of just about every cleaning service in town, not being happy for the services for the money, we tried Maidpro after receiving a postcard in the mail. The owner was VERY accomodating and got us into her schedule almost immediately. The first few cleanings were great! Literally, with my OCD, I tend to come home after a cleaning and go back over items I don’t think are up to my standards, and I did not have to do this with Maidpro… for a while. Not sure what happened, because the owner was still the same, but after a while the cleanings began to get worse and worse. I would complain and the owner would send the staff back out the next day to redo. This was inconvenient because it was another day I took the pups to day camp. She did offer to compensate us for the day camp costs but still… inconvenient. There were times when whole rooms wouldn’t be cleaned or the dusting wouldn’t be done(which is the worst for me). Finally, a few weeks ago, the bathroom, vacuuming, dusting, and master bedroom was not cleaned. WTH? I contacted the owner and complained and just could not take another day of having to have her come out again. Hubs told her we were not giving any more chances. Our inconsistent, inconvenient, and lackadaisical relationship with Maidpro came to an end. It’s a shame because if the owner could just hire dependable staff who are consistent, we would still be with Maidpro.
