Meg is absolutely incredible. Her high level of expertise and conscientiousness resulted in us moving into our new house a few weeks ago; we couldn’t be happier!
When we began the home buying process, we initially had no clue what to we were up against. Thank goodness we had Meg by our side. Turns out that buying a home is a crazy, intricate, emotional rollercoaster. She actually warned us about this in advance. My wife took her seriously but I dismissed the notion. How bad could it possibly be? LOL boy was I in for a surprise.
Here is what we liked best about working with Meg.
1. She is extremely organized. Might sound cliché, but when it comes to home buying this really matters. Especially when it comes to closing a house, missing one single to-​do item could mean losing the house. She was on top of every single appointment, meeting, to-​do item, compliance issue, etc etc.
2. She was optimistically patient. My wife and I got a little crazy at times, particularly after losing a bid on one of the houses we were interested in buying. But her optimism and patience prevailed in the end, because we found a house FAR better than the one we lost.
3. She knows this housing market extremely well. She actually drove us throughout the city, pointing out pros, cons, and factoids about many neighborhoods where we were interested in moving. She also took us to new neighborhoods we had never considered. As it turned out, we bought a house in one such neighborhood (South Park).
4. Last but not least, she is fun to work with. You may be surprised at how much time you spend with your real estate agent, both on the phone and in person. The process is far more enjoyable when your real estate is fun to work with.
We would highly recommend Meg to anyone who is buying or selling their house in the Raleigh area; she’s terrific!

Where to begin? Meg found us the perfect first home. It had just about everything on our list! She was extremely knowledgeable and was able to walk us through the process seamlessly. She told us exactly what to expect every step of the way. Meg bent over backwards to make sure all the inspections went through in a timely manner and that we closed on time. We were told by pretty much everyone that the house buying process would be long and stressful but moving with Meg was fantastic and we look forward to working with her again in the future!

Meg was our Real Estate Agent as my husband and I relocated to Raleigh from Washington DC. We were so lucky to have her and she knows the ins and outs of every real estate line item in NC. I don’t think I am exaggerating on this one as the house that we fell in love with seemed to be an extra special situation. The house was built in 1899 and the buyers had it on the market, pulled it off, and had a lot of really interesting «issues». Meg was patient with us and helped coach us through some different ways to think and approach the situation. We negotiated relentlessly throughout the entire process and got our DREAM house. I don’t know if we would have gotten this house for the right price in our budget had it not been for Meg hustling for us during the process… And she is nice too!
Thankful for her knowledge, expertise, and ease to work with. Couldn’t recommend Moving with Meg, any more because she is that wonderful!
