Mr. Rooter of Wake County

Charged me $ 350 to replace a $ 50 Moen shower valve cartridge. Took him 10 minutes tops.

When you have to place the unfortunate call to a plumber on Sunday night, Mr. Rooter is the way to go! This is a local company, unlike roto-​rooter, and they operate ²⁴⁄₇. The dispatcher, Kim, was super friendly when I called at 530pm on Sunday night, and she advised that her technician, Michael, was on a job but would call me ASAP. Michael called and I described my issue (gurgling toilets, sinks, etc) and he advised I needed snaking or high pressure clearing. He gave me the flat-​rate pricing over the phone and advised he’d be there within 30 minutes.
When Michael arrived, he gave me his card and looked around for the clean spout. When he had to come inside my house, he put on shoe covers and gloves– that was awesome! He completed the job in about 2 hours, snaking my main out 65 feet and then showing me the video of the clear pipes. He was great to work with, and I now have peace of mind knowing my pipes are in good shape.
There’s never a good time to have to call a plumber, but I strongly recommend Mr. Rooter for your unfortunate plumbing needs :)

After the failure of another «Rooter» company to show up I called Mr. Rooter and they were out in about 1.5hrs.
Michael showed up and was courteous and professional. He inspected the drain issue and let me know the cost up front. He quickly got to work and cleared the drain and once he was done showed me that it was properly draining.
Definitely keeping his business card on hand. We will use them again should we need plumbing work done.

I’ve used these guys twice in the last year or so. The first time the service was good, price was great.
The second time the service was outstanding, the price was fantastic. Based on this experience, I’ll recommend them to everyone I talk to and never go elsewhere.
