Got some pork chops there this past weekend and they were terrible and my wife threw them out. They looked good, but had no taste.

Every holiday our family looks for a Lechon (whole Pork) to celebrate! This is the place to go, very fresh, good prices and always tasty!

This is a great place to get anything pork. Be it as simple as really good bacon to a whole hogs head. They also have real lard, which can be difficult to find. My favorite here is the hoop cheese, a childhood favorite. If you are at the Farmers Market, it’s worth taking a peek in here to see the cured hams, souse meat, liver pudding, and other NC pork favorites.

OK, I’ll admit, I have rituals. Saturday morning 10AM. Leave the house and head to the State Farmers Market. First stop, Nahunta Pork Center. Trust me, as a lover of that other white meat. If you have never tasted fresh ground pork sausage, please, please, please give it a try! As far as I am concerned the absolute best place in Raleigh to get your freshest country ham, link or ground sasuage, chops, loins and ribs.
