Sean came to repair my door in the snow storm after I backed into it. He was super friendly and did a great job. I would highly recommend this company. They definitely are service oriented.

I called and spoke to the service manager named Chris and he was REALLY, REALLY rude. I called previously to ask about the installation of garage doors and they came out and gave me a quote — I told them I would contact them at a later date to install because I had to clean out my garage in order to have them installed. They provided me a quote. When I called back… I spoke to Chris and he had a really bad attitude and quoted me a price of $ 1,000.00 more than what they originally quoted me. When I asked about the ad and previous quotes, he blew me off and told me they didn’t keep quotes in their system — his words exactly were «It’s a new year and new prices, prices go up!» He kept speaking over me plus cutting me off. I was going to move forward with the purchase of the garage doors, but Chris really let me know how their service really is. Will not be purchasing from them unless I can get back my original quote back and speak to someone other than Chris. He should not be a service manager and think about going into another career if he is going to speak to customers the way that he spoke to me!

My garage door spring broke and I called the number on the sticker near the garage door from the last service. I bought the house a few months ago so I never had experience with that company. I called them for an estimate, wow, they were expensive.
I found Neighborhood Garage Door Service on Unilocal and called for an estimate. Their price was very attractive AND they could be at my place within an hour.
The repairman was very polite, knowledgeable and professional. He was done in less than an hour and the door works smoother than before.
I asked for a sticker with their contact info so I could put it over the other guys sticker.
I hope I don’t need them again but if I do, I know who to call.
