Downstairs from my office– great location, large and open. I enjoy the different smoothies, I had a veggie sandwich last week and it was great! Food is healthy & fresh! Can get busy at lunch time and they do close down around 3 everyday. If your in the building stop by– homemade humus is amazing!

Great place, very social atmosphere. Healthy choices, Love the falafel pita sandwich and the garlic chicken as well. When I ordered the falafel sandwich, was greeted and served by Patti herself. Very close to my work to get away and grab a quick bite.

Delicious and healthy Mediterranean inspired lunch faire. Homemade hummus is to die for. Loved the Oregon chicken salad sandwich.

I really wanted to like Patti’s. It’s cute place in an unlikely, but oddly appropriate, location. The menu looks awesome — with a focus on healthy food, freshly prepared. Patti’s is open to the hallway on one side but with huge windows looking out onto a green wooded area on the other side. It’s a great view that makes you feel like you’re in a summer lodge somewhere. There’s a few tables outside so you can enjoy the green up close. In the back are a couple of large cushioned chairs like you might find in a coffee house. It’s a relaxing setting, despite being in an office building and next to a parking garage. If I could give stars for the setting alone, it’d be a three or four star place.
My review is based on two visits for coffee only. For a place that’s self-​proclaimed renowned for its coffee, I found the coffee disappointing. Both visits it tasted like flavored bathwater. At first thinking I ordered the wrong thing (a latte) I ordered a plain coffee the next visit and it tasted exactly the same. I noticed that nearly all types of coffee were priced the same (steamer, latte, mocha, etc.). That’s an interesting pricing model but maybe explains why all the coffee tastes the same.
I’d like to stop by Patti’s again when I have time to try the food menu. Perhaps then I’ll be able to add a star or two if the reality of the food menu matches the promise.
