This place is so much fun! I’ve been to some evening classes and a weekend morning class which offered mimosas(a nice treat!). My son became interested after seeing the paintings and wanted to join me one day, so we took an afternoon class together. He loved it! Now he wants to go to open studio and has a list of paintings he likes. The staff is awesome and very accommodating. If there’s a painting you would like to see on the calendar, be sure to talk to them about it(lots of examples on their walls and then the complete listing is shown on their website). Fantastic and seriously addicting, for grown ups and kids! Now if I can just convince my husband to join me for one of the date night classes.

Cute little spot, and a great idea. Painting and drinking is the new pasttime craze and this place is riding that wave. I found the pace to be a bit slow, but had some delicious almond champagne and great friends to keep me occupied. For under $ 30, it was money well spent.

I had purchased a class as a gift for a friend’s birthday. It well exceeded our expectations. Our instructor, Molly, was incredible! She was extremely talented and has an extensive background in art education. It was the perfect balance of a professional lesson in comfortable and casual atmosphere. The owner was onsite and was very inviting and informative. Everyone in the class enjoyed the night. My friend and I already have plans to return here very soon.

Had a free night in Raleigh NC and decided to give Pinot’s Palette a try. What a fun evening. I met a bunch of lovely and fun men and women, we worked on a fun painting, and had an excellent selection of wine to choose from. Linda the art instructor was very patient and knowledgeable. Carole the owner was so friendly and accommodating. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I look forward to going back.

This was my husband’s and my second painting class of this type. So, this is mainly a comparison of the two. At Pinot’s Palette, we chose to do a 3 hour class. It was $ 45 per person and this included the canvas and paint, plus use of supplies. Our instructor was Providence. She was great, very offbeat and dynamic. Very artist-like. She made sure that everyone was moving through and helped people. The atmosphere is alright, located in a strip mall in Brier Creek. The only thing I would strongly suggest is to include a house wine or domestic beer in with the price of the class. Wine is half the theme(it’s in the name!), yet it comes with no wine. Only wine for purchase. And from a entrepreneur’s perspective, give people one glass of cheap wine and that will lead to them purchasing more glasses. And they’ll have more fun in your class and go away with a better feeling about the experience. There’s nothing like feeling you got the most bang for your buck. As it was, I felt that after we had spent $ 90 for the class, money on dinner and money on the sitter, the last thing I wanted to do was spend even more on wine. Overall, it was fine.

I took a class there this evening and was amazingly surprised. It was not only fun but extremely educational. The studio itself is upscale, bright and cheerful. The staff was very welcoming and supportive. The wine list helped enhance the painting experience. My painting even looked the same as the artist’s picture. That was a shock to me. I would definitely go again.
