Eat at Roly Poly any & every time I’m near the Rex area of Blue Ridge. Have always loved & felt satisfied and full with my meal. Not tonight. Ordered my usual basil cashew chicken wrap. At most there might have been 1 oz of chicken and very little sauce. Mostly lettuce. Come on RP you can do better. Please don’t disappoint me next time. Keep up your high standards.

New in town and this was the closest place for lunch to the UPS store. Huge mistake. Ordered the Buffalo Chicken wrap, which had mushrooms for some reason, I’ve never seen that combo before. Also ordered a fountain drink and a side of pasta salad. I tried 3 different tops for my cup and none of them staid on correctly, whatever I went topless and headed back to work. I’m from NY, near Buffalo, I know what wing sauce should taste like, this is not it. Nearly 100% of the«Buffalo sauce» ran out of the wrap the second I tried to eat it leaving behind a bit of spicy flavor that was much closer to Mexican and not very tasty. The limp onions and oddly chosen mushrooms rounded out this awful wrap that was still leaking it’s water-like buffalo sauce until the end. Oh well, maybe the potato salad will be decent? The combo came with a whopping 4 ounces at best, maybe two spoonfuls. This turned out to be a blessing however as it would be more accurate to call this dish«pickled over cooked pasta» there was a single flavor, which was pickles, along with actual tiny pickles. I have never seen this before. There was literally no other favors other than pickle. To recap, the wrap was barely edible with awful buffalo sauce, limp tasteless onions and misplaced mushrooms. The«pasta salad» was basically pasta with a splash of pickle juice. On the plus side the service was fast and the price was low!

Great wraps. Great selection. Much better then all your Subways, Quiznos and so on. Gluten free and low fat options. The only suggestion: please add low carb wrap option as well.

Roly Poly is awesome! Any time I order food for lunch at work I always order from them. I initially started ordering from them because I wanted food that would be quick but I really don’t like giving Jimmy John’s my money because of certain policies that I don’t agree with(plus, their sandwiches get old after a while). During my first encounter with them, I tried to order online; however, due to my employer’s restrictions on the computer, I wasn’t sure if my payment went all the way through. I called and spoke with the manager. He was incredibly nice and helped me get everything taken care of. Every time I have placed an order I have been incredibly happy with their food and their service. They are incredibly quick for delivery, as well. My favorite wrap is the Chicken Popper(but I like it with Italian dressing instead of Ranch). Their broccoli cheddar soup is also delicious, although I do wish that there were more chunks of broccoli. Roly Poly is the best and you should give them your money!

Thanks, Jose and the great staff at Roly Poly for helping me eat healthy on a tight budget! After a long day at work, sometimes I just don’t feel like cooking and they have tons of great sandwiches that are under 500 calories and super tasty! I would highly recommend that you try them once, you’ll be hooked.

The only thing I think they’ve got going is that their food is okay. They may have a great selection to choose from, but there’s nothing special about their execution. Also, since everything is literally just rolled, any sauce just leaks out the sides. I could easily get a turkey sandwich from Jimmy Johns and be thrilled with it in comparison.

A crazy amount of options! I tried the Thai Hot Tuna; good not great and they forgot mango sauce. I would still go there again for a quick lunch because if all the options! Produce was fresh too!

I love Roly Poly. It is 100% my favorite chain in the country(and there aren’t that many – I’m proud to have visited about ten Roly Polys in four states and the quality has been consistently high). Now, you might ask, why do you love Roly Poly enough to seek them out? I will give you several reasons… then add a little note about this one on Ed Drive. 1) They post complete nutrition information and their sandwiches are surprisingly healthy! Like shockingly so. Most of the half sizes that I love are between 250 – 350 calories! Not bad for a lunch. Especially a delicious one. 2) The ingredients are high quality and you have a ton of options. They make it easy to customize but I love the fact that I don’t have to because they have over 100 varieties(any store may offer about 30 regularly and a few rotating specials). It’s easy to add/take away ingredients when ordering. My favorites are the spinach stuffer, chicken fajita, and jalapeño popper – but they’re all good and it depends on what you like. 3) The organization. The menu is organized by hot vs cold sandwiches and type of meat. Therefore it’s really easy to pick out what you want. I highly recommend any hot pressed sandwich(they’re actually wraps or «rols»). The cold sandwiches are just good wrap sandwiches, but the cooked spinach and melted cheese of a hot wrap make it stand out vs other sandwich places. This suburban location on the edge of a cookie cutter neighborhood is somewhat odd. There is definitely little-to-no foot traffic. Luckily, I work nearby so it’s pretty convenient. Despite the odd location it’s usually crowded during lunch. They are really efficient too, and they have a nice variety of chips if you care to add on chips and a drink.

Yum. I really liked this place! I am often in this shopping area since it is near my house and have been wanting to try out Roly Poly for awhile. I finally decided to grab lunch for myself and my husband to bring home while out on errands this past weekend. I was overwhelmed by the huge variety of unique pressed sandwiches and wraps on their menu. They must have 40 – 50 choices and their menu is organized by type of meat. After spending about 15 minutes considering my choices, I decided on the Chicken Popper and ordered one of the pork sandwiches for my husband. My sandwich was chicken topped with tomatoes, grilled onions, cream cheese and jalapeños and was very tasty! My husband’s sandwich was pork topped with bacon, barbecue sauce, cheese and onions. He also really liked his sandwich! I ordered us both full sandwiches and I will say I think the half would be fine for lunch! The regular was a little too big for me! Service was friendly and fast. They also have a few salads to choose from and a cooler filled with more unique drinks than your average Coca Cola products. I will be back to try one of their unique sandwiches again soon!

I can’t seem to get enough of Roly Poly’s sandwiches. I eat here several days a week(I work close by). Their service and quality are very consistent. My fave is the Chicken Popper, but everything I have tried is delicious! One thing that I really like and appreciate is the small menu that lists the calorie count on EVERY sandwich! It’s nice that everything here is so healthy! Great staff, great food!

We look forward to our trips to Roly Poly. The selection is huge. Sometimes it is easier to tell them what you are in the mood for and they can select a wrap.(not always sure that they will… if there is a line.) i really enjoy the #55 Pesto Chicken roll and my better have likes the #47 Nut and Honey. I have tried a few others. Nothing has been bad. I just keep going back for the #55. For a light lunch, the small is fine. If you are hungry, the regular is the right size. They do have a whole wheat wrap, so just ask. The whole wheat wrap doesn’t grill as well as the white wrap. Don’t forget to ask for a punch card.

We were visiting the Marbles Museum, and needed something to eat for lunch. We decided to try this place because it was RIGHTTHERE, and the menu was huge. I got the Nut & Honey, which is Cream Cheese, Raisins, Sunflower Seeds, Cashews, Lettuce, Spinach, Tomato, Carrot, Avocado, Sprouts, Honey Mustard Dressing all wrapped up in a tortilla. Mine was really good. I mean, REALLY good! My husband and father-in-law both got the Greek salad. My 5 year old son didn’t want the veggie options off the kid menu(grilled cheese or PB& J), so he ended up with Sun Chips and a cookie. Was going to get him a side of potato salad, but it has bacon in it. We were lucky enough to find a place to sit(the place was swamped, and tables were very scarce). I would go back to this place and try one of their other veggie options(they had lots of different sandwiches). I just hope we can find a place to sit!

We ate here for dinner, and we unknowingly walked in 20 minutes before close. Even though we were terribly indecisive, the girl behind the counter was patient and attentive, offering excellent recommendations. It had a really casual cute dining room, small but perfect for a quick dinner. The owner was tidying up as we ate, but didn’t make us feel unwelcome. In fact he was very friendly and chatted with us, even though we accidentally stayed late. The food though, it was so delicious! I only spent $ 4.25 and had a delicious fully loaded turkey wrap! I was so impressed with this place that I’ll definitely be going back for a cheap chill dinner. I have no idea why Unilocal rates this place as $$.

I love this place. Great Employees and Healthy Food. It is pretty quick compared to everything in the Edwards Mill and Olde Raleigh Village area. Try adding peanut butter to your wrap. I love it. I call ahead sometimes and they always are on point. Never once had anything but perfection from Roly Poly. Jessie the owner… World Class business man and friend!!!

Roly Poly is a cute sandwich chain, and this location seems to be doing well. The few times I’ve been in here have always been satisfying, and the wide variety of sandwiches are a nice break from the usual sandwich chains in the area. The«small» sandwich is usually large enough for lunch, and with water it can be a very inexpensive and tasty lunch.

Roly Poly now has a new location on Ed Drive… don’t try to find it with your GPS because it won’t be there. If you have not been to Roly Poly, it is a fantastic, fresh, cooked to order, wrap and soup franchise that has very healthy, good, quick food at really great prices. Try the #13 for a real treat. Happy Eating!
