Sedaris Hardwood Floors

Just started working with this company and yes, they are connected to author David Sedaris! I’ve been in the market for hardwood floors and have done some research over the past couple of weeks. Pretty much all the comments I found online for Sedaris Hardwood floors were really positive. A quick email on their website led to an onsite measuring and quote which was totally reasonable.
Given that hardwood floors typically cost thousands of dollars, you really need to find somebody good. From what I’ve seen so far, Sedaris has been really professional and punctual. They seem to know their business and hardwood floors really well. I’ve heard and read pretty bad stories on other hardwood installers: they were really late, did shoddy work or used different/​cheaper hardwoods than what I ordered. So it seems as if this business is all over the place in terms of quality. I’ll be updating this review as I move along the installation but right now it seems as if Sedaris has earned all their positive reviews the old-​fashioned way, they worked hard for it! My opinion is that they’re one of the best hardwood installers in the Raleigh area.

As a follow-​up, my bamboo floors are in and it looks great! The Sedaris installers were on-​time and did a nice clean-​up job, I’m happy with their work.
