Smiles At Glenwood

Very very happy with the care I get at Smiles at Glenwood. Dr. Arrick is the best. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Dr. Arrick and her staff made me feel at home the moment I walked through the door. Dr. Arrick is very thorough, explains things very well, and has always taken her time to answer my questions. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and detail-​oriented. The facility is extremely clean and very modern. It’s a really good dental office and they have state of the art equipment. I would recommend Dr. Arrick & Associates to anyone looking for a quality dentist!!!

I have been going to Arrick and associates (brand name Smile on Glenwood) a few visits now, fixing a problem that’s been plaguing me for a while. The receptionist took my in even though I do not have any of my previous file.
The first visit was quick and almost painless, since I decided to go through some washing since I already blocked my calendar off for the rest of the afternoon.
The assistant was every bit courteous as Dr. Arrick herself, and capable as well. I was informed of every procedure necessary, and given the choice whether to do it right away or on the next few visits. The root canal was every bit I expected; not saying it was good or bad experience, but I was merely point to the fact that they were very informative on what need to be done so I didn’t run into any surprises.
They were very accommodating on rescheduling my visit as well. Because of unexpected amount of work I was unable to make a few of my appointment, but the receptionist was very helpful finding a good time to fit into my schedule. I still have two more visits to finish up the crown. Even after that, I think I might stay regular to Dr. Arrick from here on.

Oof, where do I start. The dentist is fine — she’s definitely not gentle, but she generally gets the job done. And then it goes downhill. The hygenist talked to me like a 10 year old and was hyper-​annoying. I could have handled that too. But, the office manager… Every time I left, the dentist was far more expensive than I thought it would be. I now know that they weren’t in my insurance, but this woman snidely replied that they were «market rate.»
So I tried to switch dentists. The office manager was a total b — h when I went to sign the form to get my xrays released and emailed to another dentist. When I showed up at the new dentist, they hadn’t received them. The nice woman at the Happy Tooth called to get them. Smiles on Glenwood woman was «busy» and claimed that it takes 24 hours (first she never told me that, second, it’s an EMAIL!) When called again, she again said that she was «doing too many things.»
Screw you Smiles on Glenwood… I’m loving the happy go lucky Happy Tooth in Cary now!
