It’s a nice little park tucked into a terribly congested and ill-​planned part of town. From what I can tell, it is getting more positive attention as it hosted the Hot Air Balloon event earlier in the summer, so perhaps that will make it more of a destination.
The paved path (½ mile) outlines a nice and open green area. There are tennis courts, a small baseball field, some play equipment, and some gross bathrooms.

Mom’s church held their annual church picnic here. Easy access to the picnic area from the parking lot. Nice shelter included several picnic tables and restroom facilities.
Lots of space so not only our church group was able to enjoy all the space we liked, but others that were walking or biking through the park were able to do so without being a part of our event.
