Really bad service with the worst manager I have ever met — as she did not want to reimburse us after 90 minutes waiting to get the iPhone repaired, she just disappeared– avoid this shop

Super Cell To The Rescue Visit: November 2 My iPhone 4 was naked and needed to be saved from the carelessness of its owner… me. Even though I am quite enamored with my phone, I tend to throw it in my purse or gym bag or coat pocket. The last cover I bought about a year ago was all beat up and falling apart. Since it didn’t look good, I took it off. Wow, I really like how slim and sexy the iPhone is without a cover. I carried my phone around with me unprotected for a few days. However, I felt uneasy about it and worried my precious iPhone would get hurt. And duh, it’s obvious I need one since the last cover was damaged… it was doing it’s job and serving the purpose for which I bought it. Off to the mall I go where there are 3 places that immediately come to mind to buy a new case… The Apple Store and 2 different kiosks. I only made it to one kiosk, Super Cell. Lena was a topnotch sales person. She asked me a bunch of questions to best ascertain what I needed… questions such as which cell phone, how I use it, how I carry it, what I do, if I had kids, etc. She concluded that I needed The Defender Series by Otter Box. This iPhone 4 cover is the Superman of cell phone protection. This system consists of 2 layers of protection: a hi-impact polycarbonate(durable hard plastic) cover that completely encapsulates the entire phone while leaving the touchscreen and other important ports uncovered. The second layer covers the phone with an impact absorbing silicone, a soft rubber outer layer, that also has protective flaps over the ports. Amazing! Now, my iPhone is seriously defended against the rough and tumble life it leads in my purse, gym bag, car seat, pocket, or other miscellaneous places I toss it. To secure the sale, Lena explained the lifetime warranty of the Defender. Otter Box will replace any part of the cover at any time and when I upgrade my phone I can get a new Otter Box cover for only $ 10. The cost of all this protection was $ 49.99 which I think is a bit steep but I felt it was worth the investment with the added benefit of the warranty. As instructed by Lena, I went to the Otter Box website to register my purchase. The website didn’t have a place to register my cover. Hmm. So I call the service center to find out how to register. Well, the good news was that I didn’t have to register it and the service person reiterated what Lena told me about replacing broken, ripped, stretched out, or defective case. However, Otter Box does not offer an upgrade option as Lena had described. Well damn. I am disappointed about that. I should have looked over the warranty prior to making the investment. But even without the upgrading feature, I would still have purchased the Otter Box. Don’t leave your cell phone unprotected, check out the extensive selection of cell phone covers at Super Cell and be careful of slick sales pitches.
