It’s so nice a shop like this exists in Raleigh, North Carolina. My husband and I love to shop here for the weirdest gifts one can buy. It’s also fun to just check the store out and see their odd exhibits. If you’re visiting the flea market on a Saturday, pay a visit to The Little Leviathan across the street. You won’t be disappointed. xo

This is a one of a kind type store. There is nothing like it in the RDU area. Great little shop and interesting staff. When I go into places I normally drive an owner or employee batty with my inane talking but every time I go in the Owner Rod never seems bothered by me and listens to what I have to say even if he’s busy. That good customer service and just being a good person all around and I like that. If you are looking for something special they will try to track it down for you but they have so much inventory and so many interesting items they probably already have what you are looking for. Go in and check them out.(5) 5 star reviews as of 6÷26÷2014 can’t be wrong!

LOVE this place. They have a little of something for everyone. A friend referred me to the existence of this amazing shop. I figured I would check it out and see if they had anything for my collection. I have since obtained an early 1900s William Fuld Ouija board from them as well as some lovely wet specimens also some neat jewlery. Like I said they have a little of something for everyone and you have to check it out for yourself. I try to make a stop there every time I am near but I have to admit my wallet gets a little scared of me because once I’m there I find so many things I want or have to have. The staff is cool and knowledgeable as well. :)

To borrow and adapt a great line from Beetlejuice, I don’t fear the strange and unusual because I myself *am* strange and unusual. I first stopped at this shop when I heard they had Hellraiser-style puzzle cubes. I really wanted one for my desk at work, perhaps to represent the darker among us in a sea of bright and sunshiney people who had Rubik’s cubes on their desks. When I first walked in, my jaw dropped. They had everything from sub-$ 10 gifts like bugs embedded in marbles, to 100 year old books, taxidermy, art, and $ 10,000+ sculptures from the master, Tom Kuebler. The first time, you’re probably going to just have to take it all in. There’s a lot there in a relatively small space. But make sure to spend some more time on a followup visit to really look closely at every square inch. I keep finding surprises every time I go back. Their book selection is exquisite; my visits there have turned up some old printings of great classics. I did also break down and buy an antique phonograph from them, which I very much enjoy. There’s a lot of other really weird/cool stuff that is outside of my personal interests that will be of great interest to others. Especially with regards to antique medical supplies(old glass syringes, surgical tools, etc). Last time I was there, they had what looked like a 1920’s dentist office set up in the corner. The staff are actually very cool, very knowledgable. They do try to get to know their customers’ tastes and one way to do that is to just strike up conversation. Let it happen. Dive in. You’ll probably be led to just the perfect item that you didn’t even know you needed until you held it in your hands.

Very Cool Macabre-ish Themed Shop of Antique and Vintage Medical Equipment and items that you will not see in many other places in the Triangle! Think: «Mein Herz Brennt(Eugenio Recuenco version) it’s THAT Cool! Totentanz! Curiousity, Fasination or Obseesion with Mortality… Objects, Symbols, Literature, Art and Film have different interpretations to different people… I believe the BEST: Art, Literature, Film, Music leaves some room for interpretation by those who enjoy it!!! Cool looking Current Business Card is Ouija Board Inspired! How Creative! Brilliant! Doctors Bags! An Absinthe Water Dipping Fountain! Freak Show, Creep Show, PEEPs Show! Some if this look like Movie Set Props and should be! The Back looks a lot like a Carnival Train Coach that you would buy a ticket to look at! Hellraiser style Puzzle Box style Puzzle… The Guy that Runs this place says they are not that popular right now… If You know what I mean, I can tell you saw the movie(wore out two copies on VHS) and own every sequel on DVD! You already have saved your place in line to see the New One(on Early Screening Night) that they have not even finished shooting! You will love this place!
