The Puffing Monkey

This was my first experience in a «vape» store. I was a smoker for years, and when ecigs first hit the market I tried them out for a few months, but ultimately they didn’t help. I thought I’d try again since I started working out again. The gal at Puffing Monkey was awesome. We came in close to closing, which I felt bad about, but she did not let it bother her one bit. She understood my ignorance in the market and was extremely pleasant. I’ve found in a culture such as vaping, there’s more «elitism» and an overall rudeness to people outside the clique. This was absolutely not the case at the Puffing Monkey. The owner personally walked me through a set of starter kits and was very thorough answering all of my questions. She was possibly one of the most pleasant people I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with and you can tell she genuinely loved her job and assisting people both new and seasoned. I usually never write reviews, only when there is a rare exception in quality of service such as this. I’ve been cigarette free for a week now with literally no cravings and I owe it to the Puffing Monkey!

I’m new to Vaping. I had bought some gear on a trip to Los Angeles and wanted another RDA so I stopped by The Puffing Monkey. I was welcomed by a friendly and knowledgeable fellow named John. He told me that the items I’d already purchased were top rate and that I didn’t need to do anything but enjoy them. He helped me pick out a couple RDA’s (they were inexpensive enough, so i got two) and was kind to show me how to wind my own coils. He answered a great many questions in some detail and with enthusiasm. I grabbed a couple more batteries and some delicious apple pie juice and was out the door with all that for not that much money. All in all, a finer experience could not be had. I’ll be pretty much not looking for anywhere else to satisfy my vaping needs. Well done and Thank You!

Not a bad place to go for buying juices, but staff is not very knowledgeable about their vape equipment, nor do they have a very good selection to offer. seems like a very clique oriented place… I don’t waste my time going here anymore…

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. I was new to vaping and was able to take my time in choosing a flavor without feeling rushed to make a purchase.

First Unilocal review…. OK, I have been to this establishment on several occasions. I would say that 10% of the time, they have what I am looking for. Either they don’t have the size juice I want to buy, or the nicotine level I am looking for. Heck, just today, they were out of zombie blood, the very last reason to enter this store. A week ago I went in to buy 2 Nautilus tanks, one for me, another for a friend. They didn’t have the full size in Stock, or the mini. I get that there is supply and demand to consider, but if something is selling, stock it! Taco bell sells tacos, I bet they almost never run out of shells or meat. Keep the staples in Stock, get better flavors, get a better tasting bar (have full size egos ready to go, saves the time of the battery screwing and unscrewing). For the amount of staff that is there goofing off, there is obviously enough business to pay to stock the shelves. Maybe I will return, but for now, I’ll have to order my juice from Good Life online, funny thing, it’s cheaper from there too!
Edit: Against my better judgment, I went back in for something they didn’t have, again… Went to a nearby shop, they had several to choose from. Deal sealer, never going back.

What’s the point of advertising Refer a Friend and get 15% off for you and your friend when you don’t even get 15% but your friend got it. I don’t know if it’s a mistake on the guys part or just a bait and switch thing so we can refer more.

Great spot. No pressure, lots of help. Taste before you buy juice bar. Tripp was the man. Volcano flavors are good and tasty.

Great shop. Staff is very helpful and knowledgable. I spent over an hour getting educated on ecigs, buying a kit and learning how to set it up. They have a tasting bar and the owner made sure I was getting the best possible price. I will be back!
