Their ad match policy changes week to week and mostly at the whim of the cashier. Customer service representatives are not even familiar with the policy. It is horribly frustrating to price match at this particular walmart.

The store is always poppin and all the items are always nicely stacked, but let’s keep in mind that someone got shot here one time and the parking lot doesn’t always seem like the perfect place to chill. The cashiers also seem like they don’t know what they’re doing and sometimes I’m afraid they’ll miscount my money or mis-swipe my card

This store is really, really bad at managing the checkout lines. I keep telling myself it’s the closest Walmart to my home and it’s quick. I’m lying to myself. It’s worth the drive to another Walmart so I don’t subject myself to the frustration of visiting this location. Why can’t I give 0 stars Unilocal

Nice, big, clean Walmart — possibly Super Walmart. It is huge and we can find most items that are online, at this walmart compared to other walmarts around the area. Sad to see memorial notice for Walter Mohn, who would always greet all customers with a big smile and kind words.

Yes. Yes. Yes. 1000 times yes. I strongly prefer this Walmart over the other one on glenwood near chick fil a. The brier creek Walmart literally had everything. Here is why I love this location. 1) It’s open 24 hours. Yay. 2) out of going here for 6 years I think I couldn’t find what I needed about 1 – 2 times. 3) cashiers are nice 4) it’s clean. Yay. 5) they do a really good job of restocking. On thanksgiving week they literally had people post so that all of the grocery items were constantly replenished.(I think this was a new thing because the cashier asked me if the grocery section was being constantly stocked) 6) the hot food in the deli is good. Like real good. All the food here is good tbh. 7) they have an extensive selection of blue bell ice cream. Yay. Yay. Yay. 8) Black Friday went very smooth. The organization was impressive. 9) they price match 10) I think I said this but they have frickin everything I could go on and on. Do they have lines? Yes. It’s Walmart. I don’t mind waiting an extra 10 min to save over $ 20. I typically go when I’m not in a rush. I tend to find myself going for one thing and getting distracted by the other 10000000 items in the store. I’ve spent hours here and I doubt I’ve seen everything. So the next time you need windshield wipers, cough medicine, shampoo, and deli meat … Throw on your pjs, put on your head scarf, and Come to Walmart. Aka the dark side. We will welcome u with open arms.

The usual phone stuff. Finally got someone on the phone who said they would track down the person in the paint department. The person went to great lengths to answer my question and provided excellent customer service. Why you ask the one star rating??? Where was the guy who was suppose to be in the paint dept. on a Sunday morning and why didn’t the associate answering the phone know what brands they carry. Not her fault but rather Walmarts

Couldn’t give a zero star… the worst customer service of any store in Brier Creek! target is a mile away and a much better choice.

Specifically, this is about the pharmacy. THEWORST. They never answer the phone. They rarely have prescriptions filled in a timely manner. They lose prescriptions that are faxed or called in by physicians. And worst of all, they close the entire department down for lunch. Ridiculous to even use this place when so many other, more customer service oriented pharmacies are available.

There are never enough lanes open at BUSYTIMES for instance: Saturday and Sunday afternoons or weekdays between 5pm and 6pm. This is really bad managing. To make matters worse the staff can be gruff and borderline nasty. It’s not the customer’s fault that your location isn’t property staffed. I’m not an ass after I wait for 40 minutes to check out so don’t be bitchy when you’re checking me out!

Well my 1st time in here since moving in area on the 1st of September and store had a funny smell in some areas and I only had 1 employee say hello to me while in store. Every one else looked down or away as walking by them. As a previous review their wasn’t many registers open at all. I may go to the Morrisville one that another review said was good!

This is a regular Walmart with crazy parking and long lines with only 3 – 4 registers open. I give it less stars though because the lines were the longest I’ve seen in a long time and there were no employees assuring customers or apologizing for the long wait. Moreover, the minute I get to the front of the line I was in, the cashier says she has to go and will be back in a minute. Most of the time this wouldn’t bother me except this time I’m in the express lane with people in front of me with too many items to be in the express lane and I’ve waited longer than anyone should and then when its my turn. the cashier is randomly stopping to go do something else. I was not a happy camper but thankfully, this was a random stop in an area I don’t frequent so hopefully I won’t have to experience this again!

The super Walmart. I come here when I want to do a whole rotation of shopping. Eventhough it’s just quick pick ups. Really big, and plenty of employees. The vision center is pretty good, great customer service. Good deals. I’m such a sucker for their $ 5 movie piles.

I always prefer to go to Wal-Mart in Morrisville than this one. Parking at this location is somewhat insane. But when I’m shopping in the Brier Creek Area, and need a few items, it’s good that this location is here. Never really had any issues at this location. The Vision Center is great. Went in for two things and was out within practically two minutes. Appreciate the great customer service!

I’m so not a fan of Walmart, but this one seemed to be okay. There’s a much newer Walmart across the way in Durham that’s a lot more run down than this one. The store is clean, the help is actually helpful here and we were in and out with what we came for without long lines and an hour to check out.

I never find this Walmart clean. It always seems a mess and it takes me at least 15 minutes to get out of the store due to the long check out lines. I avoid all Walmarts if possible due to the long check out lines.

Three stars!!! You’re thinking I’m crazy, have a really low bar of standards, or both. I think you have to adjust your expectations based on the norm. Shopping at Walmart is never a pleasant experience. I always expect the worst at Walmart. When it doesn’t happen, I’m pleasantly surprised. Grocery Dept — I do the bulk of my grocery shopping here b/c you can’t beat the prices, and I do prefer this Walmart over others due to its size, selection and proximity to home. So over the years I’ve learned to do two things to help maintain my sanity: 1) I park on the Lawn & Garden side of the store. You’ll find more open parking stalls and less pedestrians crossing to and from the store; and 2) I shop early Sunday morning when everyone else is at Church. I try to get in and out of there in one hour. Auto Dept — mechanics and associates are super nice and helpful. However, they seemed understaffed at the desk so there can be a wait. I had my car battery installed. Came during the middle of the week in the morning. Two cars were ahead of me so it took about one hour, but I was able to get my shopping done in that time. Customer Service — had to return a battery charger. I didn’t get the yellow sticker b/c I came through the Auto department. Great. Return to the back of the line, right? Nope. The customer service rep just returned my receipt to me, told me to go to the front of the store and return to her at the counter. Getting the yellow sticker and my money back took about 15 minutes.

Most Wal Marts are busy, but this place is absurd. After finding a parking space on the side of the lot opposite of the store, you enter the store which is rushing with tons of people. Half of the items you want to purchase are gone because they suck at keeping items in stock. Once you are finished getting the few items that they manage to have in stock, you have to wait in the dreaded lines. They have 24 lanes, but typically only a few cashiers. The lines can be 5 – 6 or more people deep, with everyones carts overflowing. The inexperienced cashiers and incompetent customers also slow down the process when it comes time to process payments. Whatever money you think you’ll save by shopping here will be greatly offset by the amount of time you waste standing in line, and your frozen foods will be completely melted by the time you exit the store so you can consider those a waste too. It’s just not worth going here.
