I have been living here for almost a year. When I first moved in, the management just has recently replaced all the cabinets in the kitchen, which was a nice touch. However, there was a strong smoke smell in the apartment that caused to delay our move-in date. These apartments and most of the appliances are old, so things would break down quite often. The maintenance crew used to be quick at fixing any problems. This summer, our kitchen lights have been out for over a week and still have not heard from them. Other Pros: — gym, pool, small dog park, grilling area — close to lake Johnson Other Cons: — need more recycling bins — increase rent after end of lease

I’ve lived here for 2 years now and the only reason I am leaving is because it’s time I got myself a home. This complex rules. Fun summer parties with prizes, the pool is always packed with fun people to meet. Safe area, and the foliage is breath taking. I love having company just so they can experience the beautiful entrance into the development. Maintenance is always responding promptly and all the workers in the office and I have bonded over the past two years. They truly care about making your living experience comfortable. Not to mention a DIRECTTRAIL to Lake Johnson Nature Park. If I ever need an apartment again in the future, I will be back for sure. In the meantime I will be telling all my friends to move there.

Oh boy… old dirty apartments and small square footage at a high price. I live across the street but have a bunch of friends that live in walnut creek apartments and every time we go there it’s like a sardines in a tin can. The price they pay for their one bedroom is the same price we paid for our one bedroom in a newer place in Cary. I think bang-for-your-buck-wise you should look elsewhere. I’ve also noticed abandoned cars here before and dog poop everywhere… I think maintenance might be non-existent.

I lived here for a year and half, and I loved it! I left because I had to relocate for a job. The office staff are always very friendly and helpful, and the maintenance staff does a great job and responds to requests promptly. The complex is a little old, but they replaced the things in my apartment that had issues. I loved my apartment — it had an upgraded kitchen, track lighting, a vaulted ceiling, a washer and dryer, a huge bathroom, and bay windows in the bedroom. It was always very quiet too. The only downside of the apartment was the bugs(mostly cockroaches), even with regular exterminator visits that were provided by the complex. Bugs are pretty much to be expected in the area, but I never really got used to them. Overall though, I was sad to leave and had a great experience!

This apartment complex was recently sold by Dominion and repurchased by a different company. This new company, Steven D. Bell has definitely put some effort into trying to make it look better. They’re currently repainting all the buildings, and recently installed all new plumbing. It’s great that they’re doing so much work to turn the apartment complex around a bit, instead of just letting everything sit there and get old like the old owners did.
