This is definitely one of the nicer 99 Cents Only stores. You probably wouldn’t think it would be, being in Ramona and all. But it’s relatively new and it’s in a quiet shopping center. The store is always clean and organized and the employees have always been very pleasant. One, in particularly, Judy I think — is always SUPER friendly. One thing I like about these stores is that you can buy smaller sizes of food products that might not cost less per oz./lb. but you the smaller sizes are easier to store and use up before they go bad. Parking has never been a problem here, and the spots are of a generous size. People are generally driving pretty slowly here and it’s a relatively relaxed experience. I love that they carry my favorite carrot chips by Grimmway. Kinda random but there you go!

If they sold meat I’d do all of my shopping here! Clean, organized, fast check out. And… it’s 99 cents! The produce is surprisingly good. Some has to be eaten immediately but some not. It makes eating healthy a lot easier and cheaper. Mushrooms that are 2.99 in the grocery store are yup…99 cents here and no difference in quality. Sometimes they have extra good deals on name brand items at a fraction of the price. You just have to be there at the right time because it goes fast

I really appreciate this store. *Not everything is 99 Cents,* so beware of that. Specialty items and some weekly offers are more expensive. But they do have a large selection of frozen and refrigerated items(yogurt, sour cream, eggs, bacon, sausage, milk, etc.) and the prices are usually pretty good. I like to go through the produce area once a week and see what looks good. Depending on what seems fresh, I will plan sauces and sandwiches around what they have. Also a good selection of breads, tortillas and wines although not top quality. A lot of the items that seem«cheap» are actually just smaller quantities than you would get at the grocery store and the items they have in stock are not consistent so you need to be wiling to just go and see what looks good. You’ll still have to purchase meats and cheeses somewhere else but you can save a bunch by shopping here first and filling in the rest later.

I love the 99 cent store but there is an older lady that works here that doesn’t seem to have good costumer service. She seemed kind of stand off ish. She forgot to scan a ladys coupon and the lady was in a hurry so so the lady said it was fine but as she was walking away the worker was mumbling under her breath«it’s your fault your in a hurry, not my fault.etc.» and when it was my turn my total was $ 2.19 I handed her $ 3 and she got all pissed off. I’m sorry but today was the worst service ever!

I understand it takes a certain type of person to work at a 99 cent store. Very patient and a ton of people trying to het deals on life’s essentials. But Karen knows how to keep her cool and have great customer service. Half the people that shop here are older or the other half don’t speak English. Than there are a Few asking for quarters(go to a bank) and change for 100(really it’s a 99 cent store) anyway what my complaint is. Crystal the manager was on break and Karen called for help as they’re were about 6 customers in line. But here to her demise and half rescue was this EXTREMELY rude older co worker. Not only did she ignore Karen when she asked for change she went away after the customers did and went and gave attitude to Crystal about Karen. Really? Have some class. Co workers work together. Next time just keep restocking in the back Thank you Karen. You were sweet

They sell Sapporo beer and wine at this 99 cent. I also got a box of old school Grape Nuts cereal here. Pretty cool 99 cent store.

This place sells almost every single thing you need(surprisingly) I was very impressed. It’s not your«ordinary» 99 cent store. I couldn’t find nail polish remover ANYWHERE in this town(even CVS) I couldn’t find pot holders or oven mitts!!! Came to this place for cleaning supplies and walked out with everything else! Haha I was so shocked to find all these things in a 99 cent store of all places you’d think to go. My ONLY complaint is that every single time I have ever gotten any liquid from them(shampoo, soap, drinks) they’re ALWAYS open??? Like half open? And then it ends up leaking all over the bag, the item belt during check out, or on my clothes if I’m holding it. it happens every time!

Me and Camilla the Unilocaling Hen are really digging on this 99 cent store. Why? They have a fresh food section with nice stuff for a buck! Salad bag mix that it still good, veggies, fruits, and even English muffins! They have a nice cold section with Greek yogurt for really cheap(.50 or even .25) and it is all pretty much name brand stuff. There is a nice spice collection, so you need not pay more that $ 1 for some spices. Overall you never know what you are going to find on a visit to a store like this. I am impressed that they had such nice name brand foods here and fresh things on the cheap. really nice if you are on a budget! Also the staff here are really nice. They offer to help you find things even which is almost unheard of! The high price of Hen Care these days means I have to try to maximize whenever I can. This store makes it easy to get a some nice things for less than anywhere else.
