We had such a lovely afternoon at Cactus Star! The wine was fantastic and the owners were wonderful. They are very kind, attentive and take great pride in their wine. This winery is small, family owned and a must try for anyone wine tasting. I can’t wait to return!

World-​class wines – as good as ANYTHING you’ll ever taste from Napa, Sonoma… or anyplace else. Joe Cullen is a true artisan, and the Cullens – Joe and Becky – are warm, unpretentious and hospitable hosts.

We first visited this winery in January, and were immediately impressed with the quality of this winery. The owners, Joe and Becky Cullen don’t make anything that isn’t a very high quality wine. They have a Grenache that is just outstanding. If you are into red wines, and don’t want to travel all the way up to Paso Robles, this is the place for you. Their wines are better than a number of the wines I have tasted in Paso Robles.
