Ok so I had a hankering for a duck egg. I’ve been on an egg kick and last week I went and purchased a Ostrich egg. Let me just say delish… and it feeds like 7 people. Ok back to Ramona Duck Farm. I called them so I could find out the hours and drive from Downtown San Diego to go purchase some eggs. The gentleman on the phone stated oh we will be in City heights farmers mkt. I was thrilled. I went to chfm and the parking was a breeze, the prices were better than Little Italy & Hillcrest mkts and I found Ramona Duck Farm. We took those babies home and made burgers with duck egg on top onion rolls grilled onions and more… yum YUM is all I can say
I woke up wishing I would have purchased more. Can’t wait till next Saturday.

Okay, this place is cool for being a duck farm — there aren’t many around these days — but the people there are so uncool:
I called them to see if they would sell me a single duckling or fertilized egg as a pet, and the guy just hung up on me — the least he could do was tell me no.
